Their breakfast options are excellent. Their staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. I got there somewhat early. They gladly finished the check-in procedure. They are always willing to help with navigation, village maps, etc. Around Zermatt, there are several trails to follow. "

If you're up for a little adventure, step outside around 5 a.m. or 10 p.m. In early June—you may just catch the full majesty of the Matterhorn in all its quiet beauty. The hotel itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe, with warm-toned wooden interiors that make you feel right at home. The room was thoughtfully designed, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable—just what you want after a day of exploring. The attached restaurant strikes a perfect balance between elegance and casual charm, making it a great spot to unwind. And don’t miss breakfast—it’s served in a separate room with a lovely view of the nearby river. A peaceful way to start the day!"

"Hotel Bahnhof was probably my favorite stay of our entire trip. The location is absolutely spectacular — just steps from the train station and super easy to find. The whole place had a relaxed, welcoming vibe and felt very safe. It’s thoughtfully set up for travelers, with a well-equipped group kitchen and convenient luggage storage after check-out. These little touches made a big difference. This was also incredible value for money. I couldn’t be more impressed and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A fantastic stay all around!"
