"The Grand Suite is lovely and the staff responded quickly to communication. It was not exactly what I expected as the description shows “private pool” and “private hot tub”. There was no hot tub. The plunge pool was chilly (not a bad thing as it was very warm outside) but as it was located on the first floor, it was very visible from the windows of the surrounding housing units and from the windows of the upper level rooms. So, no skinny dipping or sunbathing as it’s maybe not public but it is also “not so private.” The room itself was very nice, the facilities were clean and the rainfall shower was great. Full kitchen with full-size fridge was nice as well could enjoy snacks and keep ice cream cold. The pool maintenance person can a couple times and made sure the pool stayed clean and leaf-free. We never saw the top level infinity pool as I saw in the pictures but to be fair, there were no indications of rooftop pool access or anything but it may have been labeled somewhere in Spanish that perhaps we missed. Xambé had a condo feel as opposed to a resort hotel. We didn’t see many staff but the few we did encounter were polite and we had no issues. Our electricity suddenly went out one night (fuse blew) and was restored within 10 minutes when we informed the young man at the front desk. Definitely glad we had a rental car, it’s a short drive from all the restaurants and shops. It was a very quiet and peaceful location too, very pleasant. Would recommend."
Nômade Temple Tulum

"Staying at Nômade temple is like entering another world, Drumming music softly plays as you enter the hotel by walking into a jungle and following the pathways to a charming room, decorated in a Moroccan style. Everything is comfortable and clean. Staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. On-site food is delicious; the hotel is located on a pristine beach that has two restaurants. The third restaurant, the Macondo, was only open the first night and was a beautiful environment. Its menu was available at the other restaurants for the rest of our stay. The included yoga is a must, and included breakfast on the beach is delicious and substantial."

"I was there for 2 night. I love this place look amazing and room was really nice and staff friendly. Everything perfect but only this I didn’t like when u have to check in they will take your whole hour for wait on front desk and there is lot a mosquitos other that place is amazing"

"Extraordinary hotel and apts. Loved the stone walk ways and lush jungle landscaping Clean, safe, comfortable. The staff made the difference between a great stay and an unforgettable stay. Photos are accurate. Good location. Wonderful resturant. I had the pleasure of staying in 2 different rooms with plunge pools and a 1 bdr apt with plunge pool. Wow. Huge pool, priviate sun deck big enough to hold a 10 person party. Beautifully decorated. Large 2nd terrace, full large kitchen. Front desk staff - professional, polite, helpfull to a solo older lady traveler. Johnny was most kind. I'd return."

"Overall, we had a good stay at Hotel Kanan, and our room was absolutely amazing. However, the hotel itself felt a bit neglected and could definitely use some maintenance and extra attention. I understand that tourism may be slower right now, but I actually think this is the perfect opportunity to take care of the property and make improvements. One of our biggest disappointments was the beach. I completely understand that sargassum is a natural issue and difficult to control. However, there is a difference between dealing with seaweed and simply not maintaining the beach. We noticed trash sitting in the same spots for several days, and while neighboring hotels were actively cleaning up the seaweed and keeping their beaches tidy, here it seemed to be simply ignored or worked around. Breakfast was another disappointment. The options were underwhelming, and the food was quite bland and lacked flavor. It's a shame because the hotel has so much potential, and our room was truly wonderful. With better maintenance, more attention to cleanliness, and improvements to the breakfast, this could be a fantastic place to stay."
