"We had a lovely stay at the Piersland house to attend a wedding at a nearby hotel. The breakfast was very delicious with a good selection of local produce. The hotel is in a great location for amenities in Troon."

"Our room was supposed to be a deluxe double with a sea view, it was very small, only one armchair, nowhere to put your suitcase, no drawer unit to put your clothes, shower room small, with a shower base which looked chipped, no heated towel rail, my wife couldn’t see in the shower room mirror, it was too high, shower room was cold, nowhere to put your soap bag, at £435 per night, it wasn’t good enough, the breakfast was good, we had no hot water the first day, we were booked for four nights and left after two, ruined holiday. "
