The property is clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating! I reserved five rooms for our family attending a funeral in Tuscaloosa. Each of the families were arriving from different locations and arriving at different times. The staff worked with us and made the entire evolution very easy. All of us were happy with the rooms, the breakfast and the gym. Cudos to the staff!!

I have stayed at this property atleast 8 times. This is the only time that i was disappointed room # 310 had that smell of someone frequently laying on the furnishings without showering first and the carpet leading from entry into the bedroom was torn up and a tripping hazard. Like i stated earlier this is a first time that i have been disappointed with this hotel. The staff and breakfast as always very good.

The lobby and other common areas we saw looked newly updated and clean. Our room, however, was a bit disappointing. The fabric chair in the corner of the room had stains on it, the dresser was missing handles, and our bathroom had noticeable water damage on the ceiling. The hotel itself had a noticeable chemical smell throughout, seemingly to cover the mildew smell that also lingered. If we hadn’t checked in kind of late at night we might have asked for a different room but at that point we were ready for bed. Wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but not sure I would book again.
