Fabulous location. It's a homestay, if you don't know what that means, it's not a hotel, look it up and have expectations accordingly. They do have a staff that cleans thoroughly but the rooms are basic and you'll share it with geckos and a few bugs. For the cheapest property in Ubud though, amazing. Great for adventurous travelers and people who want to see a bit more reality than resort. Know a cab can't get you all the way there, you'll have to walk through the market a bit. The one weird things is that I was not allowed to leave without proving I paid, I showed them the Expedia receipt but the man at the desk would not believe me without seeing it in his book or computer, which was having Wi-Fi issues. My ride was waiting so I just left, they seemed upset but... obviously I paid orI wouldn't be able to leave this review. All in all, 4/5 considering price.

I had a Nice stay with 2 kids. The area is Perfect in ubud. Pool is clean, but we didnt use it. The family is so Nice and open. we left early, but that was only do to rain and bad weather in ubud. Would go again.

Highlight of Our Trip!

Very kind hosts who made a big effort to make our stay great. Owner went out of way to make sure all guests were aware of a local religious ceremony happening during our stay and acted as a guide and explained what was going on. Absolutely the highlight of our trip! Pool was good and the banana pancakes for breakfast were my wife's favourite. We were in Ubud to experience the culture and this hotel is a good choice if that is your interest. Although, if you are a fussy traveller who is not willing to share your room with a gecko or keep your expectations in line with price, you may be disappointed. Our room was due for a refresh and the shower was bracing. For us, the central location and local interaction more than made up for this. Easy recommendation for most and I would stay again.

Fantastisk sted.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold der.. vi vil helt sikkert komme tilbage. De er så søde og imødekommende. Hotellet ligger i en lille gade, hvor der er alt du har brug for og 5 min fra centrum.

We booked and paid for three nights. We stayed only two as there was a very unhealthy smell about the bathroom. On the second night there was no hot water. The owners said they were aware of the problem, so why did they put people in that room. I hope they fix the issues for any more visitors who wish to stay. The pool was not inviting as it was green. No choice for breakfast just what you were given. Doesn’t always suit peoples palate. Would chose to stay somewhere else next time.

한국인 후기가 별로 없어서 한국말로 적을게요! 루마 로다를 표현하자면 미워하려해도 미워할 수 없는 따뜻함이 있는 곳이었어요. 일단 직원분들, 운영하는 가족들 매우 친절했습니다. 이름을 못 물어봐서 너무 아쉬운데 멋진 외국 배우 닮은 스텝이 있어요ㅎㅎㅎ 아침 먹을때 와서 이것저것 알려주려고 먼저 말걸고 지나갈 때 마다 수다떨었는데 재밌었어요! 조식은 기대이상이었어요. 특히 바나나 팬케이크 잊지못해요... 다시 먹으러 갈거에요. (단품이고 양은 작아요) 방은 패밀리룸으로 둘이 썼는데 침대 정말 크고 에어컨도 잘 되고 욕실도 특이해요 ㅋㅋ 수압이 조금 약한게 단점입니다. 수영장도 간단히 놀기 좋은데 모기가 좀 있어요. 시내랑 도보로 걸어서 다닐 수 있고 가는 길에 예쁜 가게들이 종종 있어요. 골목이라 밤에는 조금 무서울 수 있지만 가로등 있습니다. 친구들끼리 숙소에 머무는 시간이 작아서 저렴한 숙소를 찾는다면 루마로다가 좋을거같고, 숙소에서 머무는 시간이 많다면 안맞을 수 있어요. 하지만 다음에 발리에 가면 또 가고 싶은 정겨운 곳이에요 후기 너무 늦게 적어서 미안해요! 우리 또 만나요 :-)

Place run by a lovely Balinese family. Good quality for the price. Breakfast was simple but coffee was good. The setting is peaceful and lots of attractions within a 15 minute walk. Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay and I would love to come back!

Sweet Spot in Ubud

Really sweet family run guest house with very nice breakfast and clean pool. Entry to the property is cluttered but once you get past the construction materials all is lovely. Owners could not be more friendly.

Under remodeling, several times lights out of our room and fresh paint smell. Staff is very friendly and the room was in a good area close to downtown and a lot of shopping and restaurants, however taxi did not want to go to that hotel because the street was very tight
