We stayed as a family of 3 with baby. Our expectations were not really high of this place. We stayed in Bali for 10 days and Greenfields were our entry point. We booked 3 nights.
Getting to the area from airport is typical for Bali. After you get out of the crazy traffic and jams you will appear on a bumpy road that will bring you to the Villa. And then you just cannot stop staring at where you are. Surrounding is beautiful, villas are spacious and in a very good condition, staff is friendly and helpful, food is from average to good (depends on who is cooking I guess). When you wake up in the morning you hear roosters, you can walk out on the terrace and jump into your private pool and soak in the great Bali village atmosphere.
Walk out of your villa and you are right away in the middle of nowhere. Only rice fields and if you are an exploring type of the person, you can easily find ways and routes within those rice fields. You can even walk east and get to the village, walking over deep ravine on bridge and you can walk there easily within 20 minutes.
They offer shuttle service at your convenience and they can take you to Ubud for some shopping if you like. We asked for baby crib and we got it immediately and it was basically brand new.
At the end, we regretted that we booked only 3 days here because all following days elsewhere in Bali, we compared to Greenfields. And it was basically incomparable. This was my 3rd time in Bali and best ever location I stayed so far!
