This is a wonderful hotel, large rooms, great amenities, and a personable and caring staff. The near new spa/hot tub is clean and a nice surprise. I was totally impressed. And the “vibe” with the staff is upbeat and refreshing in this era of impersonal support teams. Their young but very capable desk manager “Happie” was a delight going over and beyond in helping me with a few issues that arose. So great to find an affordable hotel with so many things that set it apart.

I was wonderfully surprised by this excellent hotel. Quite roomy King room, very complete breakfast with multiple protein options (a big deal for me), and superb location, literally just off the 101. Hot tub was a nice surprise and I was totally impressed by staff’s upbeat, positive outlook and overall “vibe”. Obviously excellent management. The young desk manager (Happie), WAS a happy staff addition, going above and beyond to help with a couple of small issues for me. Way above the average hospitality experience in today’s market. Ten stars!

The bed isn’t very comfortable, they could get some new mattresses. There also wasn’t a comforter on the bed, just 2 sheets and one thin blanket, they could get better bedding so you don’t have to crank the heat so high to stay warm. Also, the furniture in the room was very worn out e.g the end tables, dresser and tray, they should be replaced. And my worst complaint it that toilet in the bathroom wasn’t secure. Every time I sat down and got up, the whole toilet would shake very loudly and I thought it wasn’t going to come out of the floor completely. I’m not a huge person so it definitely wasn’t because of me. But other than those things, it was an okay stay.

Ukiah as a community has its own reputation that I’m familiar with. Let’s hope future customers come with consideration for others with babies and children staying here as well. As for this motel it was the great service that stood out to me and would have me come back. Any issues were quickly resolved without push back. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy, sausage, boiled eggs, white toast, cereals, oatmeal, waffles, and apples. They also had orange juice, apple juice, and coffee. Beds weren’t very comfortable honestly but for the rate I won’t complain. You can’t beat it for a night stay, hot tub, and hot breakfast and great customer service. Water pressure and hot shower was perfect. It made me wish I brought my dog because it was a very dog friendly property with grass and I believe doggie bags. I didn’t use the hot tub because I forgot my swimsuit but there was steam coming off it at night and I did see a women using it. So I believe it works well and it’s open in February!

Check in was okay. The lobby had avery strong odor of insense, to an almost intolerable level. But it was quick. Eventhough i had a room with two beds, I was only given one key. Went into the room, which smelled of paint. Other reviews said it had been freshly remodelled. At first glance, the room looked clean. One of my group took a shower and found someone else's hair on a towel.There was paint splattered on the floor. I went to the counter to request a blanket, as they are thin, with holes, like little burn marks. The new clerk at the counter had to locate keys to the laundry/supply room. We walked there and got an extra blanket. I could see they seem to do their own laundry on site, versus using a service with industrial eashers. My guest and I checked the two beds to find one sheet was dirty, and had stains. The second bed had pet hair on the sheet. I noticed another human hair on my pillow and a sheet that had discolor stains or was dirty. I walked back to the desk with three of the pillows that were dirty. The guy that checked me in was brought to the counter by the new clerk. I could tell he ad been asleep. I showed him the pillows and eplained my sheet. He said he didnt believe the pillows was dirty, which was problematic, in my eyes. When i asked if i could get my sheets changed he said hed give me a new room. He clearly wanted to go back to bed and not deal with this. The new room I got did not smell of paint, but there was other issues

Good price but terrible service, I stayed 4 nights and even though I requested housekeeping service several times it was never provided. This goes without mentioning the overall cleanliness of the room I was given, which unfortunately reeked of cigarrete smoke, and was overall not very clean. The floors were still wet when the room was given to me, which is a slipping risk. Thankfully the serice personnel was able to mop off the water a bit, but the floors still remained damp.
