"This hotel was purchased out of chapter 11 bankruptcy in February 2026 and it looks like it. Mold was present in our shower and floorboards and the headboard was worn. On the plus side, found staff to be nice and accommodating, walkable SoHo location and there is a generous noon checkout time. However, I would not consider this hotel until after the new owners can get in and provide renovations, assuming they will make the investment. The previous"

"Staff are nice but I didn’t get my hotels.com F&B credit and the water dispenser on my floor was broken meaning I had to go up and down each time I needed to get water. "

"Old hotel in a great area. No elevator on site so get ready to carry luggage 4 flights of stairs! Rooms are decent size and hotel has a boutique feel. Staff are barely present. Better options out there! "
