We arrived soo late due to our flight being rerouted. After flying Internationally for 28hrs we were exhausted. The gentleman helping us with our bags, the check in Gentleman and the staff helping us with breakfast were honestly superb! It was a genuinely wonderful overnight visit. We will definitely stay again. Candy

It was a great place to stay to be close to our event we did there. Our room had issues with the shower drain not going down fast enough, so water got all over the bathroom floor. The AC vent flap wouldn't stay up so we had to use thick paper to shove in the side to help it stay up.

We arrive from overseas Australia to a very warm polite respectful welcome. Our room was clean comfortable and really well appointed. The only negative I can give you the beds extremely hard so coming in exhausted from a long International flight. It was very difficult to find any comfort to sleep. The breakfast was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed it. We are return Travellers to the Premier Inn on our travels and recommend it to everyone who’s coming into South Africa for a visit. STAY AT SLPENDID INN

I had an issue with the hot water. I reported same to the receptionist. He advised that the plumber confirmed that it was fine and that it was the pump that was affected due to load shedding. On Saturday the problem recurred and no one came to fix same. My room wasn’t cleaned either. Water was nit replaced and neither was clean cups replaced.

They have horrible service, from reception to housekeeping. Restaurant they have a good service. House keeping go through your suitcase when you're not in the room. We had to go out and buy soap because the housekeeping lady refused to give us 2 small bodywash. She gave us 1, imagine you use it in the morning and at night. The other time, she left nothing. we called reception, and they said they had no stock. They became angry when you requested service. It was my first time buying soap while i was in the hotel. Meat was not up to the hotel standard. It was not fresh at all. Massage i don't believe they were trained for the job they do. It's a good idea to have an in-house spa, but those ladies had no ideas on how to massage. Because of poor house keeping there small cockroches already. The hotel is beautiful, but we didn't receive value for our money, and for that, i don't believe i will book myself there again.

Ok but not great

The hotel looked very new, so everything was in good state, but it lacked warmth and cosiness and the restaurant and cleaning services seemed novice. The room was small and some of the areas on the photos including the beautiful rooftop are not actually available for guests, which was a disappointment.

Must stay in Umhlanga

One of the best hotels that I've visited. Friendly staff, rooms are beautiful and clean. With a lively Seaview from the room. It was quiet and relaxing.
