Very nice hotel and I was in a large room. Staff helpful and the cleaning crew were very good. The bed and linen were comfortable. The hotel is one long block from the tram line and is surrounded by restaurants. Very quiet other than the calls to prayer.,
While breakfast was not MY style the other guest enjoyed it.
I stayed a week and if I did not already have reservations at another hotel I would have stayed at the Blue Gilroy my entire three week stay in Istanbul. .

This hotel is in an excellent location if you are a first time visitor to Istanbul. It is a 5 minute walk from Sultanhamet Square and a few minutes walk to catch the T1 tram.
There are an abundance of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The staff are very kind and accommodating. The room is good value for money and the breakfast caters for all palates. Also, lots of cute cats all around.
