The room was very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The hotel is luxurious. Two beautiful pools and very good food. The views are stunning over the ocean. The beach is not suitable for swimming due to heavy surf and a strong side current but Talpe beach a 1.5k walk or tuk-tuk away has a safe beach behind a reef.

Lovely hotel and as always im Sri Lanka, great staff. Amazing location and views. Points to note. Dont pay for the higher floor option. Its not taken seriously by the hotel. We were put in the 2nd floor and told anything above ground was considered the higher floor collection. Cheeky. You cant swim in the sea from the hotel. Its all foilage and coral. Thats all said its right on the sea and is an incredible spot to spend time.

This has the potential to become one of Sri Lanka's top hotels. However, for the rates charged, the guest experience is quite underwhelming. Despite picking the highest priced room category, the geyser barely kept the shower or bathtub warm for a few mins. The toilet on the ground floor as well as the lift were routinely in less than ideal shape without regular cleaning. My travel multiplug, which works everywhere, couldn't be used because the socket was new and too tight. Bizarrely, I was asked to pay 5000 LKR in cash as a deposit for a plug provided by the reception. When you pay 800 usd per night, asking for a 15 usd deposit for something so small leaves a guest with a poor aftertaste. It says that the hotel staff prioritize money over guests. I have never experienced anything of this sort anywhere in the world, least of all in Sri Lanka where hospitality is the buzzword. It's a real pity because this is a fabulous property, and the rooms and views are wonderful. But it is clear that the staff and management have other priorities, not guests.

The views , the setting and staff were excellent. What let the hotel down was attention to detail- our room had a cracked glass balcony which did not instil confidence. The lack of reliable hot water a was another poor aspect as was the indifferent housekeeping which we had to constantly talk to housekeeping manager about. The lack of response from the front desk and management until 11pm on night before departure with an alternate room was too little too late. To cap this on the last night key decided to fit out new rooms with drilling and cutting boards after midnight which again we had to call to complain sorry but this is not a 5 star quality hotel and the lack of empathy and professions by management as nd Radisson is extremely poor!

The check-in time was 3pm. I booked Deluxe Room at higher floor. I came in at 5.10pm and room was not even ready! I only got my room at 5.35pm but at lower floor and was not given compensation, although I have requested it. Bad service as I do not get what I have paid for. Breakfast was not superb as they want you to choose from a range. Example: eggs side. You must choose a range of egg styles. Asked for soft boiled eggs and was given hard boiled eggs.

Nästa Radisson hotel 💯

Radisson Collection Resort överträffade alla förväntningar. Hotellet är modernt, elegant och otroligt välplanerat. Rummen var extremt rena, jätte sköna sängar vackert inredda och mycket bekväma. Poolområdet var fantastiskt, och frukosten höll absolut toppklass – både smak och utbud var imponerande. Det som verkligen gör hotellet unikt är personalen och management. De är serviceinriktade på en nivå man sällan upplever. Jag gjorde en felbokning till ett annat hotell, men ledningen gjorde allt för att hjälpa mig, erbjöd generöst sen utcheckning och såg till att vi mådde bra medan vi väntade på besked. Deras omtanke och professionalism gör att detta hotell sticker ut bland alla Radisson-hotell jag besökt. En av de bästa hotellupplevelser jag haft – varmt rekommenderas!

Magnifique séjour

Hôtel flambant neuf. Décoration magnifique, des fleurs fraiches dans tout l'hôtel. Le jardin qui donne sur la mer est splendide. La vue sur la mer depuis la chambre est à coupé le souffle. Plage avec les tortues marines est à 2 minutes à pied. Beaucoup de petits restaurants de plage à proximité. Extrêmement bien placé pour visiter les environs. Options restauration dans l'hôtel un peu trop chers pour la région
