We are specifically for a room with a separate tub and they put us in another room instead. Then we had to wait a couple hours for them to get the correct room ready. When we got to the new room, the mirror was dirty and it just wasn’t that nice. We had a Butler the first day, but the second day he disappeared, and we never saw him. Overall, I found the place to be over promising and not delivering. I won’t be going back, I think we deserve a partial refund after that experience.

Beautiful resort with imaginative decorations for the holidays!! The food at every restaurant was delicious!! Outdoor winter activities were fun, and the views were incredible. Very upscale with out being pretentious. If staying in the townhomes..recommend bringing your own breakfast requirements…it is a long distance to get to the main hotels. A resort with something for everyone!

The service was exceptional, the only thing that was flawed slightly was a little wait for room service, and the iPad was not able to place the order properly. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I will be going back again.

Nemacolin is a very unique experience. There are tons of activities so you will never be bored, the service is out of this world, everyone is very kind and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this resort.

Absolutely gorgeous facility! Staff was exceptional! We had an unexpected flat tire and valet staff changed and fixed our damaged tire. This resort is a hidden gem in Pennsylvania! Will be staying there again to enjoy all amenities!

The zoo tour, the tavern, the flowers on the grounds were great.The Lautec meal was very disappointing and over priced.

Love this place. Just wrapping up an awesome Labor Day getaway. Nemacolin has it all for kids and adults alike. The pool at the Peak was fantastic with huge stage and big screen TV to watch sports (watched PSU vs WVU) from pool. It’s more than just a luxury spa and golf resort with great dining. We played combat paintball in woods (Nemacollin paint balls were fish oil based so easy to clean up). We stayed at the recently renovated Grand Lodge. Kings suite felt like it was made for a king. Huge outdoor terrace with access points from both bedroom and main living area overlooking the mountains. Can’t say enough about this place. This will be an annual Labor Day weekend getaway. Expensive but worth every penny IMO.

Nemacolin was excellent. Fawn and fable was disappointing for breakfast. We showed up and were made to wait 20 minutes for a table. There were only 3 other guests in the restaurant. Very odd. Long wait for food as well. Also at the restaurant at FallongRock, there was a really long wait for food to come out. Additionally, you need to have coffee readily available in the morning in the lobby. The wait at patisserie was very long each morning.

The height of the bathtub was particular high and a challenge to enter and exit. The tin was very slippery. The toilet had to be repaired - flushed like residential toilet vs commercial toilet.

Nemacolin has a storied history and we had very high expectations. These were mostly met through several delightful experiences. The Bleu Room and The Hardy Room cigar lounge were amazing. The front desk and valet staff were delightful. Sadly the food service did not meet expectations nor did attention to details such as removing used glasses and trash from various public spaces and lounges. Several staff were too busy fraternizing rather than attending to customers. We could only think more training is needed to match a Four Seasons or even Ritz Carlton experience. Regardless, we look forward to returning!

Adult family fun trip

Property was stellar! Staff was fantastic! Pools and glow bowling were a ton of fun! Property was well kept except for the zoo. That looked a bit unkept. The spa was lacking. Friendly staff but due to a mix up caused me to wait for my hair service for 2 hours. The stylist also doubled as a manicurist which I found odd for a high end spa. The tec I was assigned was only a “blow dry” tec which caused me to wait for the stylist/manicurist. For such an expensive price tag, I could tell there was no training program. The very expensive massage and facial service was very expensively over priced. There were too many folks running the front desk and not enough trained technicians. Next time we will skip the spa and just enjoy the resort!
