"Even though we had a bit of trouble with our booking when we checked in, the hotel manager did a really good job of sorting that out. From there, the stay was fantastic. The staff are absolutely brilliant — from the gate and security team to the hotel staff, waiters, and reception. Every single person we interacted with was welcoming and professional. Special shoutout to Royalty and Praise, and especially to Ema, who truly went above and beyond during our stay and made us feel so well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Lagos. The location in Lekki is excellent, and you get a beautiful view of the sea while eating, which really adds to the experience. The food was fantastic as well my personal favourite was the seafood okro, which was absolutely delicious. All in all, a wonderful stay. Thank you to all the staff at Yacht Hotel Lagos for such a memorable experience."

"The rooms were clean, staff very friendly, front desk and restaurant staff all lovely people. Helen, the restaurant coordinator, was the most helpful, smart, people person I meet in awhile. Peter, the bellhop, very helpful at all times and always with a pleasant welcoming smile. I enjoyed my stat immensely."

"The room and staff were just OK. I only booked this studio flat for this September trip as a trial run for my December booking. I made a two-bedroom flat booking for December. A few days later I got a call from the MD, very unusual, saying the flat was unavailable and he offered me this particular studio plus another separate room in another building outside! They did not and still do not have a two bedroom flat available to offer anyone for this December 2025! I'm of the opinion that this was a scam. They tried to extract more money from me by offering me a three bedroom elsewhere, at an extortionate rate. Asking me to cancel my original booking with Expedia and pay them directly. I felt the was very unprofessional and have now cancelled my December booking and looked elsewhere. I have travelled all over the world and never experienced such a sham. Just be aware."

" I recently stayed at George Residence for a week, and was impressed with the space—it offered two air conditioned bedrooms, a kitchen, and three bathrooms, which made it very comfortable. The sizing was excellent, and the service throughout my stay was great. The decor was phenomenal! One of the best features was having a kitchen-clothes washing machine, dishwashing machine, sink, stove, microwave and refrigerator. It was a real bonus to be able to cook meals and not rely on eating out every day. Another major advantage was the location—directly across the street, there’s a large gym. It can be hard to find gyms in this area, so having one so close was a real convenience for keeping up with my fitness routine. There were just a couple of drawbacks. The windows didn’t close tightly, which allowed mosquitoes to get in more easily. Also, the water pressure in one of the bathrooms wasn’t the best, though it wasn’t a major issue since there were additional bathrooms to use. Overall, this was a great stay, and I definitely plan to book again many times in the future. "
