"We had a great time at Aalma da Ria. It’s about 10 minutes from Aveiro with the car. There is a main house, with kitchen and common spaces, and then there are the lodges. Ours had 2 sleeping rooms, bathroom, and a small pantry with microwave and coffee machine. The houses are within a green area that includes a pool. Mariana was so nice and helpful. Everyday she prepared us a huge breakfast she was so nice and attentive. Highly recommended."

"A well placed hotel for visiting the city. Lovely art deco designs are everywhere, and the hotel has real character. Arriving during a yellow warning heatwave, the air conditioning in the room made for a pleasant night’s sleep. Breakfast was quiet varied, with a hot food option in the form of bacon and eggs. The real highlight was the help we received from the hotel staff. They were engaging, and able to answer our queries about where places were, and how to get about using the public transport in and around the city. Certainly worth staying here."
