"No English but otherwise a great stay"

"Lovely hotel. Nice breakfast. Excellent surroundings. "

"This property offers some more hotel-room style rooms, but I stayed in a nicely furnished and somewhat spacious appartment-type accomodation in the old town of Detmold. "

"Fantastic place with very nice people. The service was great, food enjoyable and the room was perfect. Nice view, nice location, and just a good stay. "

"This hotel has so much potential unfortunately it wasn’t to the normal standard that a three star German hotel is. The restaurant was open from 6 pm till 8 pm for dinner if you arrive at 7:45 pm it’s too late and that is ridiculous as for breakfasts The cheeses and hams and eggs weren’t replenished so choice was greatly limited. "Et sted hvor du kommer ned i gear. Dejlig atmosfære, pænt og rent værelse. Manglede kun vandkoger. Meget rar og venlig ejer."

"Best host "

"Nice Hotel, important really clean. Strange was that they where not willing to provide me an invoice, with suggest to reservstion and payed by Expedia."

"The Hotel is nice and the rooms are clean. The only problem is the breakfast in the morning. Tables will not be cleaned when guests are finished and difficult to find someone from the staff when you have a question or to need something. The breakfast basic. The food in the restaurant was ok. "

"Excellent hotel with modern and spacious room! Dinner selection is amazing, beautifully presented an very tasty. Lovely staff and great views! Loved every minute of my weekend stay!"

"Very good"

"Outstanding breakfast, great staff, convenient location."

"It is a good place to stay"

"A traditional German hotel in a rural setting. The room was clean and spacious with the bounse of a balcony. The restaurant was not open on our first night (Thursday). We did have a good meal the following evening. Continental breakfast was good. There is also ample free parking. This hotel is one we would return too."
