I stayed at ITC Grand Chola for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience in every aspect especially the customer service, room service, cleanliness, and the delicious food. In addition to the above, I requested the front desk for a tour of this magnificent property. I was assigned a guide named Monica, who was truly amazing. She had in-depth knowledge about the property and shared its history in great detail, from A to Z. The tour lasted about 30 minutes, during which I learned a great deal. Even though I am a Tamilian, born and brought up in Tamil Nadu, I discovered many historical facts from her that I didn’t know before. I now live in Canada as a citizen and frequently visit India both to explore more business opportunities and for leisure, enjoying our traditional Indian food, reconnecting with my university friends, and exploring our country’s tourism. Monica also kindly offered her assistance for any future bookings at this property. I would appreciate it if you could share more information about ITC properties across India, as I am very interested in exploring them further. I am also keen to learn more about your club membership program and the benefits it offers. To sum it up, I am certain I will be returning to stay here in the near future, and I strongly recommend that other guests consider this exceptional property, located in the heart of Chennai. "I have stayed in all five stars in Chennai many times and Hyatt always best for comfort, staff attention and service. Special thanks to reception staff for excellent check in and ensuring quiet room as requested. Perfect sleep and great breakfast and also enjoyed spa and pool. Just wish they didn’t blare pop music in garden at breakfast time. Lotus pond is special area and gentle traditional Indian music would be more in keeping in morning, Bring earplugs to breakfast if you don’t want loud pop music at 8am! That aside I highly recommend this hotel over both the Leela Palace and ITC Chola. "

"Just Guest House is just what you need, if you need a clean and simple place to crash. Their sign also says that hourly rentals are possible, subject to availability. This is wonderful to remember if you have a long layover at the airport, and you want to freshen up. I stayed here two separate times, for a few nights each, in between business and personal trips. The owner is friendly and is sometimes present in the daytime. He is very helpful. The front desk woman is a LOVELY woman with a happy smile at all times. Both were willing to help me with some communication issues that I had, as I am a foreigner who does not speak Tamil. You can’t miss that the floors and rooms are immaculate here. I am not one who needs a fancy place to stay, but I do want a place to be clean and hygienic. Just Guest House is! I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels in Chennai where I’ve seen pests in the hotel. I didn’t see a single one here. The location is right on the corner of Joseph St. and Veeramamunivar St, where there is a colorful, ornate temple arch. You can walk out and find just about anything you need- bottled water, food, clothing, groceries, toiletries, coffee, tea, and beyond. It’s approximately a 15 minute, inexpensive ride to the airport, even with Chennai traffic. Despite being close to the airport, you don’t hear many airplanes passing by. During my 2 trips, I stayed in 2 different rooms. Both had all I needed. The rooms are quiet. The beds are comfortable."
