"We had a wonderful week at La Bicyclette. The hosts, Richard and Yvonne were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. At the same time they are very professional and knowledgeable. Breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent room and comfortable bed. Without a doubt, we highly recommend La Bicyclette. Thanks."

"We had a lovely stay here. Hosts very welcoming and helpful with information about the area. Lovely big room and ensuite overlooking the river. Comfortable bed and the room had a fan! The only stay of 4 that did provide a fan in the room which was a godsend in the heat that weekend. Really nice breakfast, fresh fruit salad, the greek yogurts were delicious, croissants, bread, cereals, jams, honey, my husband particularly liked the butter, ham, cheese, all very enjoyable. We hadn't intended to stay out late but the music festival was on, which was brilliant, but dark on walk home as no street lighting. Just make sure you have phone battery for torch to walk back late. This is not a negative, just a tip, because the place is lovely to stay over where it is situated on the river. "

"Its a lovely family run hotel, the owner has excellant customer service skills and all of the staff make the effort to make you feel like a valued customer. Yes aspects of the rooms could do with a refresh butit is easy to overlook that. The food was very good and good value for money. It was my wife's birthday whilst we were there and when the owner realised they arranged for her dessert to be brought out with an candle in it and Happy Birthday written in chocolate!"
