"The property was exactly as depicted in the photos and other reviews. It is a great, basic and budget-friendly option in Valdez. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There were both hot and cold options both mornings that we were there for breakfast. The tub was a bit slow draining when we showered, but there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There was a great local restaurant right next door. Everything in town was easily accessible from this hotel. There are several other fun things to do that are just a short drive away (Glacier View Park, Solomon Gulch Fish Hatchery, hiking the Goat Trail near Bridal Veil Falls, etc.). Our beds were comfortable. We were able to request more towels at the front desk when we needed them. You could hear some hallway noise in the rooms, but everyone was very respectful during quiet/overnight hours so it was not an issue. The rooms did not have coffee makers or tables in them, but there was always coffee available in the breakfast area. Guests were more than welcome to gather in the breakfast area or to use the microwaves that were in the breakfast area during their stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future."
