"The rooms had an amazing view and the grounds were quite expansive and lovely. Ingrid and her husband made me feel so welcome, it added a personal touch to my stay. I noticed that there were many return guests, and I understand why. I hope to return some day too. It was a beautiful area to walk with my dog. And, the hotel is close to the city of Guimarães, which is an excellent day trip. It was a very relaxing stay, everything about it was perfect. "

"This was one of the very best places we stayed in the 6 weeks we spent in Italy and Portugal! The owner, Silvio, is such a kind and generous host, and he has created a uniquely beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the

and Jacuzzi, set in an incredibly lovely garden, and the stone house was just as charming. Silvio has done a beautiful job decorating, and does so many nice touches that add to the warmth and beauty of the property. This is a great place to stay, and we would love to come back!"
