She greeted us warmly upon arrival and facilitated a smooth check in. She ensured that breakfast was to our liking and was most informative and helpful throughout the stay. "In 4 giorni, non sono state cambiate lenzuola o asciugamani nonostante si fossero macchiate. Solo alcuni che usavamo come tappetino per la doccia. Reception inesistente, in caso di necessità bisognava chiamare un numero telefonico. I classici kit da bagno giornalieri dati solo il giorno dell'arrivo, poi sono dovuto andarmeli a comprare. L'hotel è nei pressi della spiaggia libera, vicino alla passeggiata principale, struttura che di per se non è male ma la gestione è da rivedere."

"Really friendly and helpful. Went in night before to say we were checking in next day. Barbara really nice and said would store luggage on arrival, the room was actually available and given to us at 10.30 am on arrival Only had one night as had been staying in another hotel in Lucca. Room was quiet, clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast was good Stored luggage until our departure later in day. "

"Well maintained facility. Clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff nice and friendly. Rooftop with 2 jacuzzi’s very nice. Truly an apartment setting with all necessary equipment. Also plenty of places to eat near by. Loved the pizza place they recommended. Quite and easy to come and go. Close to train station. Our room 205 was huge. The beach is close but very busy. "

"There wereno pla es to oark and I have a disability. No one to help with luggage. Had to park 2 blocks away.The room ,decor, and paint in the room looked like original . No shampoo or soap in the BR. After I got my luggage to the first floor which would be our 2nd they locked off the lift to the first floor. My room had a small veranda but the door was looked and not accessible probably because broken window out there. The air conditioning was wonderful. I moved to a new place the next day."

Mornings were a treat thanks to the generous breakfast spread: fresh pastries, fruit, eggs, and delicious Italian coffee that kept us going all day. The location was ideal—quiet yet close to everything, including the city walls and lovely piazzas. It’s rare to find a place that balances comfort, hospitality, and value so well. Whether you’re travelling with kids or just looking for a peaceful getaway, this hotel hits all the right notes. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Lucca!"

"The hotel was above expectations. Exceptional staff on Reception and in the Breakfast Room. The bedroom was superb with the en-suite having extra additions such as the make up mirror. The location is excellent as situated ten minutes from the railway station and five minutes to the walled city. Thank you for a great stay. "
