"Andorra's national language is Catalan, I understand that. I made the mistake of wishing the receptionist at the hotel 'good day' in Spanish when I arrived. He did not reply at all - not even in English - and stared at me. I don't believe this is the correct response. I would have thought that replying in English would have been a more appropriate reply to my aberration rather than silence, especially from a hotel receptionist. It reminded me of when I wished a shopkeeper 'good day' in the Basque country - an awkward silence. "

"Very clean room and hotel. Very nice staff who spoke very good English. Very convenient for most of the areas of interest. 15 minutes walk to the bus station with a suitcase."

"The room was clean, bed & pillows very comfortable. Staff friendly & helpful especially the young woman who checked us in & out. Parking was a little tricky to figure out as entrance was on another street but was right next to the hotel. Everything was great."
