"Historic and atmospheric, beautiful location in the traditional old town, spacious restaurant and pier access, very convenient for ferry access and sunshine on terrace all day round. Food options were extensive but more expensive than comparable restaurants in the area, and it would have been nice to have a freshwater pool to cool down in. Spa and restaurant staff were fine, not overly friendly, but reception staff were excellent - their local restaurant and gelato recommendations were superb!"

"This hotel is based on the outskirts of Verona, we didn’t mind as it was quite and we had our own transport .. taxi is around 20 euro if you want a night in town … Staff were amazing, very helpful, loved the elderly bar man he was such a pleasure to chat with … and breakfast was amazing and for 6 euro pp, can’t beat it !!! So fill those belly’s before you head out for a day in of site seeing !!!"

"Perfect for a woman traveling alone. It appears to be a dorm attached to a private high school/college. Super clean. Staff speak English and Spanish. Central location, perfectly safe walking back after the opera at the Arena di Verona at 1am because the entire coliseum full of people were out in the streets too. Down the street from Castellvecchio. Clean clean so clean! Would stay again. "
