"This hotel is definitely not a 4 star. Maybe at one point in time but 2 star would be more than generous. The beds are uncomfortable, the carpets are old and shabby and the bathrooms are tiny with mould growing in the shower. The fixtures and fittings are tired and need replacing. The only saving grace is the staff. Every single one of them is friendly, chatty and very helpful. They went over and above! "

"The reception was very friendly and welcoming. I can’t remember his name but he was so helpful with everything including checking out and calling us a taxi to go back to the station. The hotel has an old vintage vibe to it but we enjoyed it and the room was clean! "

They waited up for us and even put a beautiful spread of meats and cheeses together out on the patio as we had not had time to eat. The grounds themselves are stunning and the hotel is clean and very comfortable. We highly recommend! "
