This was the perfect place to stay for the picturesque location nestled in the valley in the Alps. If you’re coming for winter sports, there are two locations very close by. The hotel restaurant was delicious, staff were very kind, room was comfortable and the sauna was a great experience! No complaints and look forward to the next stay!

Lovely hotel and staff

Lovely family run mountain hotel with lots of amenities, a pretty guest lounge and private sauna/steam room, which was was a real treat. I also booked a nice and much needed massage. The staff were all lovely, welcoming and relaxed, they made our week long ski trip (with dogs) very enjoyable. Thank you!

They have an excellent ski room with boot heaters right beside the bus stop. The ski bus ride is 5 minutes to the Valtourneche gondola. This is a small hotel that is very charming. The breakfast was very nice, with plenty of options. Free parking 50 meters away and if full there is a 10 euro covered lot under the free parking. Great for avoiding the chaos of the Cervinia base area.

I have never seen such a spread for breakfast! We slept with the double windows open for the fresh mountain air and had a view of Monta Rosa. FULL size shampoo and body wash that smelled incredible with an herbal scent. Very helpful staff (thank you Maria) for helpful suggestions. This hotel was not our original selection as the sister hotel in Valtournenche had a plumbing emergency but I think we got a definite upgrade being right at the base of the Matterhorn in a 4 star hotel!

Our room was comfortable and spacious. However the facilities and food on offer for breakfast were unsatisfactory. We didn’t dine in the hotel as the bistro was full with non-residents on the evening we arrived (the hotel had not previously recommended that we book a table). Thankfully there was a great bar opposite the hotel and an excellent restaurant (Big Ben) 100m up the road. The staff were generally pleasant but not very proactive in seeking to help us.

Accertatevi che le camere superior abbiano il letto normale e non nel soppalco perche non viene specificato in fase di prenotazione. a noi è capitata camera con letto nel soppalco quindi carina da vedere ma molto scomoda se decidi di passare qc ora in camera ( nel nostro caso nevicava forte ) non ce modo di stare seduti comodamente o avere una zona dove poter stare comodi. peccato colazione molto buona e abbondante caffe ottimo

Cosy and comfy hotel in Italian Alps

I really liked this family run hotel in the Italian Alps. The decore is comfy and cosy. The staff is very helpful and have great advice for the local businesses (restaurants and ski rental), which were fantastic and you can tell they care about the quality of your stay. The breakfast was wonderful because of the unique local recipes like chestnuts and apple compote, as well as the oven fresh baked pastries. The room was very comfortable with nice linens and wonderful soaps, shampoos, and moisturizers. The location is just a few steps to the shuttle bus and very close to Cime Bianche which is fantastic and connected to Cervino and Zermatt ski resorts. Three world class options. Honestly, it just doesn't get better than this.
