Hotels near Van Meter Public Library

"The room was clean and comfortable. Location is very convenient. Tables for breakfast were not getting cleaned, coffee was not working, some of the food was cold. Not as maintained as usual. What REALLY bothers me, why do I pay $30+ extra to book through Expedia??"

"Room was not cleaned during our 3 day stay. They make you take out your own garbage at the end of your stay. There was no water or ice machine in the whole building. This is more of an apartment than a hotel. "

"Stayed two nights for a conference. Great choice, will be back! Bed was firm but comfy, pillows were nice, room was spacious enough. Only thing I’d have liked is a shower stool to shave on but it’s not a big deal. Great location. Lots of easy food options. Starbucks across the street. "

"Worst facial tissues I have ever encountered, like sandpaper! Housekeepers don’t know how to completely clean a toilet. Dirty windows too."

"One of the elevators was not working over the weekend we were there. The motel was very busy so several times we had to take the stairs to our 6th floor room!"

"Had the do not disturb sign up and it was 9:30 am with an 11 O Clock check out. Cleaning staff didn’t knock and just entered completely ignoring the sign. "

"Nice breakfast, eggs sausage potatoes waffles cereals juice coffee etc. Didnt have a chance to use pool or hot tub. We had the 2 queen suite with couch. Huge room. Accessible. Te only thing we weren't crazy about was a sliding frosted glass bathroom door! A little weird especially if it's not just a couple. "
