"The room was tidy but there was so space. We had room for 2 adults and 2 children and child’s sofa was placed in the way, blocking access to the desk. Breakfast was very poor, I regretted buying it. Scrambled eggs made out of powder. Only highly processed and sugary items. Nothing substantial for breakfast. Nothing for vegetarians."

"What an amazing location. It seems a little out of place in the surrounding area but it is like an oasis in the desert. Located actually on the river, the hotel is a converted mill house full of period charm and character. The rooms were comfortable, with a few quirks, but very spacious and some have beautiful views. The swimming pool was a boon in the very hot weather. The two young ladies looking after us were a delight - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good. It's a little out of town, with few places to eat in a mixed residential/commercial area, but being Aussies we made use of the bbq on site. All in all a lovely place to stay. Would we go there again? You bet!!"
