I had to use a towel on the bottom sheet and slept in my clothes. I booked for two nights and stayed one night and checked out. The location was nice very close to the beach and local restaurants. "The Thiruvambadi is a great hotel. It’s in a convenient spot at the very end of the cliff ‘strip’ so, if you turn left out of the hotel, you’ve can walk along the clifftop past lots of shops and an endless choice of restaurants. "It’s primitive. Like an abandoned infirmary. If you like camping, then it’s ok. Don’t recommend for those concerned about illnesses tranmsitted by musquitos. Not child safe. Can see an accident and a law suit in its future."

"For starters when I booked it said air conditioned room/ when I arrived it was not so wasn't impressed with hotels.com The place is nice, helpful staff and nice grounds man. The cottage is cute and a good size. It's a little challenge finding this place but it's well signed which is helpful. To get to the cliffs go through either bamboo village or the ally way next to it- along here is some cool shops and restaurants"
