Very old property. Was likely a hot ticket in 1975. Rooms were functional and clean but very old Common areas had odd smells and worn out carpets. Light outside our room kept turning off and on all night. Staff were, however, very pleasant and helpful during our stay. Restaurant attached was very enjoyable Parking lot was horrendous.

Room is a bit cramped, could use coffee pots and tissue paper in rooms, road way in should be smoothed out. other wise everything was good. staff at the front was great. The price was great so not worth complaining about anything really! Would I stay again? Yes

Although it was just a one night stay, the hotel and my room were clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast room was very sweet - nicely decorated and provided a good number of food options: oatmeal, yogurt, juices, bread & baked goods and fruit. The adjoining restaurant, Crave Appetite, served me the BEST homemade Tomato and bacon soup. All-in-all, it was a very positive experience. Thank you!

End of the life cycle for this old building. The Garden Inn has no garden! The groundskeeping is non existent. The exterior cracking on some of the wall stucco means there is some significant structural movement. The drainage hoses running off the flat roof areas may be trying to keep the water away from the grade beams. Inside, I had to get a screw driver from the front desk to tighten my bathroom door knob. The fan never did work. The hard water calcium deposits on the ceiling strapping are old. The boiler pipes expanding made a constant noise. The retrofit tub doesn’t quite fit the existing plumbing. The hodge-podge furniture in the room was awkward - chairs and table too low while your feet dangled from the bed if you sat there - and did not fit the room layout. My room cards deactivated twice - drop my stuff on the floor and off to the front desk. No one could explain why. No kleenex was provided in the room. The attached restaurant booths could use some new padded benches, preferably washable! If you listen over the boiler piping you could hear the pigeons cooing, somewhere…. The two gravel accesses in to the building have craters that would swallow your small car. Pretty sure the VLT’s keep this place going…

Hey Melvyn sorry for your experience, I had my staff take a look and sent me pictures. They said it was a sharpie marker but still something they missed and we’re very apologetic for that. We haven’t had anyone miss a mark like that and pride ourselves on keeping clean safe rooms. Hope you have a great rest of you day.

I only stayed for one night while in town for a wedding. The staff that I came across were all very friendly. Very quiet and comfortable! I ordered food from the restauarant attached and it was pretty good!

My stay was fine. The staff was very friendly. The Inn was maintained yet outdated. I stayed two nights but was away from area for much of the time, so very accomodating after hours and felt safe enough being alone.

It is an older hotel, but cosy and comfortable enough. It was clean, however the carpet in my room was stained and very dark. The staff was very friendly and helpfu.

Garden Inn was a welcomed stop while traveling with my daughter. We wanted a clean, air conditioned room with easy access to get back on the road to Edmonton. We loved our quick stay and the staff was very friendly.
