"This property was in a fantastic location but not quiet (early morning) if that's what you're looking for. Older hotel with lots of charm & friendly staff. The reason for 4 stars is the water was scalding hot or cold & during winter months AC is not an option even if the day is warmer."

"Great stay in Venice, highly recommended! The hotel is excellent, clean, modern, and brand new 1 year old only. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and we had a really great overall experience. It’s also very convenient that they allow luggage storage, and the breakfast was a nice bonus. The customer service was wonderful, and the staff all speak English, which made everything easy for us. We also really appreciated the drinking water refill station such a thoughtful and practical feature. The location is very convenient, especially being near Tronchetto. You can take a taxi from the train station for about €26 or the vaporetto for €9.50 per person. The only downside was the shower drain, it was quite slow, so water tends to pool while showering. Overall, still a very good stay and highly recommended!"

"Beautiful property right on the canal. Wonderful helpful staff. Great views from our balcony, we had a room with partial canal view but we had a spectacular full canal view from our balcony. The hotel is centrally located on a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to just about any point on the island, plus the water buss lines stop right at the hotel door. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities one would require. Breakfast was excellent with buffet or alacarte service. My wife and I highly recommend Palazzo Barocci"

"The hotel was a great location that was close to everything. The staff was amazing! There were stairs for sure but they had someone to help with bags. They even set us up with a tour to murano included in the cost. We had a room with a view of the Rialto bridge and I couldn’t have asked for a better view to wake up to in the morning."

"Welcoming, helpful, multi-lingual, and friendly staff. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all major sights; right outside of San Marco. Easy 5-10 min walk from San Marco vaporetto dock. Wonderful and complete breakfast with hot and cold options, breads, fresh fruits, and more. The suite room was well equipped and had a nice rooftop patio. "

"Fantastic location. Nice courtyard. Best way to go to airport from the hotel is to take water ferry to P.Le Roma (bus Termina, last stop) then take "Express" Bus. Ticket can be purchased from conductor when the bus arrives. "
