Loved this beautiful hotel. It has gorgeous gardens and the staff was very friendly and helpful. And the food and cocktails were amazing! And it’s dog friendly. Really lovely place. Definitely will come back.

This is a beautiful property. Nice to be away from the bustle of Venice while still close enough to enjoy a day trip. Only negative mark is no stand up shower in room. Hand held shower wand in bathtub is the only option.

Pleasant stay
Was amazing. Room excellent only negative it was adjacent to meeting room for events. Not so sure I would stay in this room if an event was in progress.

In front of the river, this 15th Century heaven was a memorable experience. Like most of Europe hotels, Air Conditioning does not work in Winter which was a problem to me. However, I wish I stayed longer than one night as it worth the visit.

Though I had not yet checked out in the morning, I entered the room without the staff knocking in a shower without permission. In addition, a door was opened without knocking when I changed my clothes afterwards

Excelent quite place, rich in class!
This UNIQUE place it allows you to experience the richness of staying in a "palace", treated like a "King" close to Venice, Padova and the country side. Very nice experience through out!

Awsome experience
We had a great stay at this beautiful Villa. The location is not too far off from San Marco and can be reach by car in about 20 minutes or less. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel put us in the duplex overlooking at the garden and the classic rooms are very spacious. This is the perfect hotel to stay if you are driving from other cities to explore Venice. We will be back staying at this place for our next visit to Venice. Highly recommended!

well maintained and run villa
The villa is located in Mira about 20 kms from Venice bus service to venice costs 9 euros a day to and fro and easy to get a bus so its good! Well maintained pleasant and helpful staff excellent food very high end place to stay peaceful and well run.

Family owned and run villa
Located in a quiet country setting, but not far from Venice, this unique Renaissance era villa was a wonderful break from our city hotels in Rome and Milan. Located on a beautifully landscaped estate, the Villa has large Renaissance decorated rooms with modern bathrooms. The restaurant has wonderful homemade pasta and outdoor as well as indoor seating. I can't say enough about the wonder staff who were very accommodating. We will be back.

Fabulous Hotel
This was the best hotel we have stayed at while in Europe. The service was great and the breakfast was superb. The staff could of not been more helpful and even set up a private tour of a local villa with a English speaking guide. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we'll worth the time out of busy Venice. Take the time to relax and visit the very charming community.

We stayed in the loft of the main building. Everything was beautiful, although a bit tight. I was constantly afraid I might slip going into the bathroom as the very narrow door into the room was at the beginning of the staircase and having to manipulate in the dark could have been disasterous.

One of the Highlights of our vacation.............

Located on a canal, 20 minutes from Venice and 20 minutes from the Airport. Great staff and accommodations. Breakfast was included and it was an amazing spread.

Stunning hotel, beautifully maintained
We have just returned from a trip to Italy during which we stayed at the Hotel Villa Francheschi in Mira. The hotel is stunning, beautifully restored and maintained. Our room was comfortable and well appointed, with a view of the gorgeous gardens. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting the area.

Excellent "Villa Style" luxury stay in Veneto
Beautiful villa and domain in a quiet location just 15 minutes from the ferry that will take you to Venice in less than 30 minutes, certainly the best option to get to the pearl of the Adriatic. Also very close to Padua, which is very convenient....extremely clean, attentive staff and beautifully decorated rooms and common areas.

Unbelievable!
It is hypocritical I know, that I always read other reviews but fail to ever leave one myself. I cannot do that with this hotel, as it was just completely wonderful. If you want an absolutely unforgettable stay, including the service, the room, the food, then this is your place. If you want a downside, that would only be that it is a 45-60 Euro cab ride from Venice. Other than that, perfect place to stay.

Great stopover, handy for Venice
Villa Franceschi is in a great location if you are travelling with a car and aren't bothered about staying actually in Venice. It is about ten minutes drive from the nearest ferry stop, which is easy to find and has a handy car park next to it. What better way to arrive in Venice than by boat, anyway? The Villa itself is fab, beautiful and beautifully maintained! It is spotless, (most important!) and tastefully decorated, with cool and relaxing public areas to sit. We had a family room, with a mezzanine area for the kids - their own private sofa bed and tv. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, especially the fresh fruit salad and you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the peaceful gardens. We were there in a heatwave and the only thing missing was a pool!

Traveling through Venice to Tel Aviv, from the States, wanted to take one night to adjust to time zone and jet lag but didn't want an "airport hotel" or the hassle of Venice (crowds, water taxis etc). The cab ride from the airport was an easy 20 minutes, aprox 60 Euros. We arrived jet lagged and rumpled, the birds were singing, beautiful gardens, a true Villa in every sense of the word, the room was unique - like a step back in time. We were welcomed like old friends, the atmosphere absolutely tranquil. Even though an easy bus stop away from Venice we decided to stay at the Villa for dinner, lovely restaurant - attention to detail like the Murano glassware, food excellent, service friendly yet deferential at the same time (hard to pull off!). Loved it so much we canceled Venice hotel on return before cruise and stayed again AHHH. After cruise we stayed on the Lido.. nice but not the Villa Franceschi, should have gone back a third time. Ok, so, one "opportunity for improvement"- two different awesome rooms, both could use a better mattress. Overall, just lovely- do yourself a favor and avoid the stress of staying in the heart of Venice- take a breath of country air , get away from the tourists for awhile!

Not really a 5 star hotel, but certainly 5 star service!
The reservation made me nervous because in the past we would always pay in advance to secure our room with the rate that was advertised. Sure enough, when we got there the room was not the rate advertised but much more. Then, they advertised free airport shuttle. No such thing, in fact it cost about 60euros one way and 60euros way back. That said, everything else was divine. The daily free breakfast was yummy, the conceige were EXTREMELY HELPFUL, the room was tidy and beautiful. The neighborhood was charming and not far from the bus stop. Just a 7min walk then 11euros to get into Venice for 2 all day pass. Not bad. The restaurant next door has the BEST TIRAMUSU ...and I don't like tiramusu, but that one was the BOMB!

This hotel was wonderful. Smartly dressed friendly and helpful staff greeted us at the door when we arrived. The hotel is surrounded by its own immaculately kept gardens and the decor inside was really lovely, traditional and well maintained. Our room was very comfortable with good air conditioning and with a complimentary bowl of fresh fruit. The hotel is about 10 minutes by car to the boat terminal which takes you a quick boat ride to the historic city of Venice. All in all we would thoroughly recommend this hotel - it offers extremely good value for money and we would definitely go back again.
