We enjoyed our stay, but as seniors felt it would be would be advisable to have safety bars in the tub enclosures. Also, it would have been nice to have air conditioning in the dining room.

Although it was just a one night stay, the hotel and my room were clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast room was very sweet - nicely decorated and provided a good number of food options: oatmeal, yogurt, juices, bread & baked goods and fruit. The adjoining restaurant, Crave Appetite, served me the BEST homemade Tomato and bacon soup. All-in-all, it was a very positive experience. Thank you!

Very old property. Was likely a hot ticket in 1975. Rooms were functional and clean but very old Common areas had odd smells and worn out carpets. Light outside our room kept turning off and on all night. Staff were, however, very pleasant and helpful during our stay. Restaurant attached was very enjoyable Parking lot was horrendous.

End of the life cycle for this old building. The Garden Inn has no garden! The groundskeeping is non existent. The exterior cracking on some of the wall stucco means there is some significant structural movement. The drainage hoses running off the flat roof areas may be trying to keep the water away from the grade beams. Inside, I had to get a screw driver from the front desk to tighten my bathroom door knob. The fan never did work. The hard water calcium deposits on the ceiling strapping are old. The boiler pipes expanding made a constant noise. The retrofit tub doesn’t quite fit the existing plumbing. The hodge-podge furniture in the room was awkward - chairs and table too low while your feet dangled from the bed if you sat there - and did not fit the room layout. My room cards deactivated twice - drop my stuff on the floor and off to the front desk. No one could explain why. No kleenex was provided in the room. The attached restaurant booths could use some new padded benches, preferably washable! If you listen over the boiler piping you could hear the pigeons cooing, somewhere…. The two gravel accesses in to the building have craters that would swallow your small car. Pretty sure the VLT’s keep this place going…

We stayed here for a week with a group of friends and enjoyed our stay! We liked that there’s a bar with pool tables in the hotel and a restaurant attached! There could be a few renovations inside and the driveway definitely needs fixing but I would say good for the price.
