"Our first time in Avignon was a delight! Staying at Kyriad Avignon Palais Des Papes was convenient and accessible to all the walled city had to offer. We want to come back!"
"Wonderful hotel with old world Provence character, done very tastefully. Definitely recommended for those looking for a stay to experience the real Provence. The staff were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Tres, tres bien!"

The ancient Pont du Gard aqueduct towers majestically above a perfect swimming spot in the Gardon River. Nearby vineyards offer tastings of regional wines, while the village's charming cafés serve traditional Provençal cuisine.
"Beautiful city. The hotel has a homely feel about it and is right in the heart of the square. It can be noisy during the night, if like us you prefer to have your windows open. No restaurant at hotel but its surrounded by lovely eateries. "
"Perfect place walkable to train station and close to arena and shopping. Has everything you need including fridge, dishes and microwave. Spacious room and safe and very pleasant atmosphere. Would highly recommend! "
"In addition to good accommodations, the location was just outside the walled old town. The town center was about a 2.5 one way walk. It was a plus being able to close the bedroom doors to separate the bedroom from the living room and kitchen. There is a grocery store just outside the hotel fence.
About the old town: The economy in the city seemed to be a bit depressed with a number of storefronts closed permanently. While we took a break at the public park across the street from the police station, we observed several drug deals taking place. We made a personal decision not to be out after dusk.
And an FYI, there is a free mini bus that will pick you up near the Thiers entrance outside the wall and take you as far as Place Pie in city center."
"A little hidden gem in Avignon. As per the name, the hotel is very central to most things you would want to visit in the city. We had a great experience there."
