Good location for shopping especially with a car.Need more choices in breakfast. Staff was excellent and helpful. Room always cleaned and well tidy. Will recommend it to anyone

Beautiful Hotel not to far from attractions. The only thing that was my concern is evening outside not really safe if walking. Other then that my stay was good.

Air conditioning was broke. They out me in the wring room the first night with a broken ac. Moved me to a new room due to broken ac. Still wrong room. Ac broke at 3 am.. moved me to the right room the next day and the ac worked 40 percent. They brought me a fan and thats how i finished my time there, under a fan. The staff was courteous and very helpful

I liked everything else, except: 1. Restaurant is not well equipped to make the foods that are offered on the menu. Half of the items I ordered, I was told they are not available at the moment. 2. They play a loud music in all hallways and lobby 24 hours, which is irritating; and I don't know why? Even when you go to bed at night, the music keeps playing. I personally had to call them every night and ask them to turn off the music as people need to sleep quietly.

Unpleasant Stay!
My room Air-conditioner was not working, I complained to the hotel staff, they came, fumbled with the AC Regulator without fixing the issue. Also the walkway leading up to the room has a stagnant pungent smell, hot and uncomfortable. The in dining restaurant had soiled linen on the dinner table. I checked other tables and it was a reoccurring theme, so me and my wife decided to leave for another restaurant and check out from the hotel the next day ASAP! The hotel is located in a prime area of Victoria Island and as such the current management aren’t maximizing the full potential the surrounding real estate has to offer. The hotel is in serious need of investment and renovation.

The staff is very friendly. I love the vibe I get as soon as I walk in the hotel. The only down fall this time, was that the A/C wasn’t blowing as cold as my last stay, but I managed. VCP hotel will always be my go to in Victoria island, Lagos.

The staff is very polite and friendly. Housekeeping checks up on you twice a day to make sure you have everything you need; I really like that! The room was extremely comfortable and super clean. The hospitality was outstanding in my opinion. This was my first trip to Lagos from Florida and I will definitely stay there again without a doubt.

The bathroom was not up to the basic standard. My bathroom looks and feel were irritating. The walls were covered with black greenish gross stain. The bathroom needs total renovation. I had a very displeasing experience taking my shower.

VCP HOTEL REVIEW
Nice hotel with good facilities that needs some more maintenance. Due to regular power cuts, the generator is running most of the time. So, pls avoid rooms facing the main roads as its really loud on the lower floors... Instead, choose a room facing the backyard if you like quietness and taking a room on the 1st or 2nd floor.

Still wondering the basis for 4* by Hotel.com
I hardly give reviews on Hotel.com but I wouldn't want first time users to fall victim and be deceived by the 4* rating. Firstly, this hotel is overpriced for the facilities and standard. I was there only for a night on short business trip. the first room I was given had 2 major issues: the television was not functional - yes, television. The wifi only works through the the television. Basic toilet provision like dental kit was not made available. my room was changed, this time, no spare power socket to charge my phone. These issues are taken for granted in facilities that are priced much less. Only two things to cheer - friendly staff and rich buffet breakfast which was complimentary. Overall, I don't recommend it.

The location and staff were the best things about the hotel. The food at breakfast was terrible and the condition of our room was poor. It was not clean and had wall paper coming off the walls.

A hotel with European standards
I enjoyed staying at the hotel, from the security to the reception, and the cleaners are carried out their duties accordingly. Apart from the water that sometimes become yellowish, and I was displeased when water ceased for 39 minutes on my last day, though they apologised and have warned through the TV messaging but I was already in the bath covered in soap. Everything else is great just to mention their food is a bit pricey! lol

Nice hotel totally let down by the food!
Hotel is nice and clean but service from kitchen is appalling! Food takes an age to arrive and then you get either something inedible or something missing half the ingredients that should be present! You are met with the usual, "this will never happen again" type answers when the matter is raised but heard this all before and know it wont change!!! If you want to change, get a chef that can cook and can follow a recipe so you get what they, expensively, are charging you for!!1
