"This is such a swanky and chic property. From the time you enter the lobby you are taken back with the old world decor. It has such an eclectic vibe and nostalgic feel. The decor is stunning and there is so much history here. It’s a must stay and play hotel. The rooms take you back in time but are very well kept and comfortable. The pool has an adult day party vibe with great music and attentive servers. There are plenty of bars, a 24 hr diner plus a separate yet onsite bowling alley with pool tables, basketball games and another bar. The lobby bar is a must with bar tenders that can make you any kind of drink you want! It’s a great place to sit, drink and people watch. We had a great time and will be back soon! "
"My suite was wonderful! I’m glad that I chose this option instead of a regular room. The king bed was super comfortable and I had a great view of the city skyline. I loved having a mixture of sofa and several chairs at various places to enjoy the views. There were not many dining options in walking distance but transportation was good from the hotel. It was next door to the convention center which worked well for me and my training session. I would highly recommend this place to stay in San Diego."
"The hotel was nice, looks like a renovated apartment complex. Area looks a bit sketchy but overall felt safe. The parking was a bit odd as there were no windows facing the parking lot so you at times worrried about your car. There is a gate to get into the complex which made me wonder why a code was needed, possible randoms strolling through or maybe because the high school is directly behind it. For the price though it was a good value. "
