This hotel was fantastic. There isn’t a staff onsite so keep in mind you can’t just come in early and check bags or ask someone questions at the desk but I had a very early flight in and they were reachable through the app and they worked with me on check in time and were extremely pleasant. I was overjoyed by the room. I expected smaller and a tiny bed but it was spacious with high ceilings very comfy bed and bedding. There is a wonderful cafe across from the hotel really good coffee and pastries. Wonderful location a 4 minute walk to St. Stephen’s. 13 minute walk to Vienna State Opera house.

This room was spacious for two people and very clean. I liked that they procided ear plugs in case of noise.the location is about a 15 min walk from the Wien mitte train station, near other metro stations and close to attractions. I would stay here again.

This place was great. It allowed me to check in early and was in a great location. It was a very tiny bathroom, but that worked for just me traveling. I would stay here again.

Staff was accommodating with our check in and check out times. They were sweet and answered all of our questions. Not only that but the location is perfect. It's the higher end part of the city centre and the price was incredibly reasonable. Definitely will return and book a room here.

The thing that I wasnt so thrilled about is front entrance of the hotel..it was dirty and did not look like a hotel. But once i got in to the hotel that was on 2nd or 3rd floor, the room was nice and clean and the receprionist was very friendly and helpful.

Location, location, location! I loved staying here. The building is from the late 19th century and the Pension takes up the whole mezzanine level. My room was really cozy with tall ceilings and an updated, very modern bathroom. I arrived to a plate of fruit, some chocolates, a hand-written note, and a kettle for tea. Charming. The room has a radiator and it had what I believe was an a/c unit on the room as well. The bed was really comfortable. I did ask for an extra duvet since they don't do flat sheets in europe and I tend to get cold when I sleep. The bathroom has a shower with a real door so water wasn't going all over the bathroom! I will say that the shower was about 3'x3' but tall. I had no issues but someone who is more corpulent might find it a bit tight. I would say that's a tiny consideration and would not prevent me from recommending the Pension to friends. The hotel has breakfast available each morning. I highly recommend paying for the breakfast when you book the room. I paid an extra $10/night. Had I waited until I was at the hotel to pay for breakfast, it would have been €16. Great breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal, toast, pastries... My favorite thing about the hotel is that they give you real keys. You walk back to the hotel at the end of the day and unlock the door to a real Viennese house like a real Viennese resident. If I'm ever fortunate enough to be back in Vienna, I will definitely stay there again!

The staff goes above and beyond. I had an early flight, and the front desk person made me a lunch to take with me since I'd miss breakfast. Unfortunately, you'll hear the noise from the people on the street smoking outside the restaurant below, but I packed earplugs and had no problems sleeping.

Worst experience, not worth the money. Location is ok, but entire hotel is a sinle floor on 3rd floor. Room are very small, bathroon is compact. No room to move or bend when taking showers.

The good: Location, literally 3 minute walk to Stephansplatz. The bad: Room 1 (Single Room that sleeps 1) was one of the saddest I've stayed in, anywhere. Its "window" was purposely locked because it leads indoors (to a hallway) and the only air comes from an air conditioner that keeps humming and makes random noises, and its indicator light keeps the room just lit (like a nightlight, but blue) enough to be disruptive. The room was across from the reception in a tiny hallway and you will hear all the comings and goings, especially when people returned to their rooms over the weekend. Other small issues mentioned in other reviews that I can overlook. Granted the price was cheap considering the location at only 95 Euro (75 + 20 fee) per night over the weekend in August; if I knew the above, I would not have booked.

Excellent location & friendly staff
This was a fantastic place to stay at a great price. They were accommodating when my travel plans changed last minute and I arrived late. Both people working at the front desk were very friendly and very helpful when I decided to extend my stay in the city last minute. Room was exactly as advertised. The high ceilings added an elegant touch. I would stay again!

This hotel has the smallest rooms in Vienna, maybe in the world. The room is smaller than 2m × 3m! The window has no view, its like you are in a walk-in closet!

These are the tiniest rooms I have ever been in. About 5 m2 (55 sqare feet) wirh a dead end window! Even inside cabins on any cruise are twice the size!

The hotel made a point of making me feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable although a little small. The staff was friendly and in a good location Do keep in mind that the hotel front desk hours are hard hours.

Wonderful!
This is a wonderful find of a hotel. It’s just blocks from St. Stephens Cathedral but really quiet. It’s clean and pretty, and the breakfast was delicious.
