Wie schon mehrfach erwähnt ist die Wendeltreppe auf ganzer Höhe eine Herausforderung, auch wenn man das vorher wußte. Für uns ein Grund, nicht wieder zu buchen. Sonst ist die Wohnung gemütlich, wenn auch einige Ausstattungsmerkmale fehlen.

Appartamento carino ma non attrezzato, mancavano parte della biancheria da letto e cucina. Posizione comoda per girare a piedi. Assolutamente negativo il fatto che fosse al 5 piano raggiungibile solo da una scala a chiocciola di 96 gradini sconnessi e scivoloso....sicuramente non a norma di legge. Sconsigliato

Überteuert und überbewertet

Die Wohnung ist zwar groß und sehr gut gelegen, aber davon abgesehen bietet sie wenig Komfort. Sie ist renovierungsbedürftig und nicht gut gepflegt. Basics wie Salz, Pfeffer oder Zucker oder auch nur ein Geschirrhandtuch sind in der Küche nicht vorhanden. Wir haben auch keine Putzmittel vorgefunden. Ein Glasreiniger wurde uns auch auf Bitte nicht gebracht. Das Bad hat den Komfort einer Studentenwohnung: Eine hohe Badewanne und ein Duschkopft, den man selber festhalten muss, weil es keine Halterung gibt. Am Waschbecken stand eine verbrauchter, leerer Behälter Flüssigseife. Die Bodenfliesen teilweise kaputt. Die in einem separaten Raum gelegene Toilette ist so schlicht, dass man hofft, das kein Besuch sie benutzen muss, weil es einem peinlich ist. Ein Waschmaschine ist vorhanden, aber Waschmittel muss man sich selbst mitbringen. Alles ist auf das Nötigste reduziert. Insgesamt lieblos und überteuert. Nicht zu empfehlen.

The property is less than 5 minutes away from the St Stephens cathedral so it is really central. We had booked some tours and only had to walk a few minutes to get to the meeting points. The apartment itself was a traditional Viennese apartment - parquet flooring, high ceilings' tall windows. It was spacious and comfortable ( dishwasher, coffee machine, washer/drier). We had a few problems ( such as lack of cutlery but emails to the co were answered instantly and problems were resolved quickly) There’s a Spar shop nearby for groceries too. One caveat : it’s on the third floor and only accessible by a very narrow and worn stone staircase so not suitable for the less ablebodied. We loved it and would definitely stay there again

This place should be called stairway to hell!!!! First of all this picture of the facility is deceiving it took us an hour to find the address which was in a black alley not this beautiful building. There was no one to talk to or to get us checked in we landed up getting Hilton in Vienna. Please Expedia your reputation is at stake for promoting these facilities which are hell. We are disappointed with Expedia for putting this facility on their website and giving it 3 stars. What a joke!!!

No better location!

We had a wonderful stay here. It was close to many main attractions, walking distance to Stephanslaus station, and the area was safe and so pretty. The wifi was reliable, the place was HUGE, clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. A word of warning to others travelling in summer. There is no airconditioning, and while there are many huge windows, it was HOT at times. There is also the possibility of walking up many, many stairs depending on which unit you get. We are both reasonably fit and did not have an issue - in fact, we enjoyed having to do the hard slog up 100 stairs after many yummy schnitzels! There is also no microwave, which was a bit of a pain for heating up kid's meals and milk. But really - such a small criticism! Overall, we would definitely recommend!

Great apartment, horrible stairway

The apartment was massive and well furnished, including a washer dryer. We stayed on the top floor, and the stairway was a killer, especially when you had to carry your luggage in and out - it's an old castle-style spiral stairway, and 5 flights of stairs. It was disconcerting on the final day when a random guy showed up at 7am asking questions about the apartment, including how expensive it must have been, what size it was etc, and then our phone rang about 30 times, and no one would respond when we answered - we were quite relieved to leave that day.
