Extremely disappointed we choose this hotel for our stay in Vigo.  The GOOD: Large rooms, big bed and large bathroom. The BAD: No basic amenities in the hotel room (e.g. no kettle / coffee machine). None of the rooms have a view of the bay and if you're already vacationing in Vigo you can find a hotel room with a beautiful view of the bay  basic amenities for the same price range. Parking is EUR 15 a night and a very right squeeze. Breakfast is EUR 15 but we did not try it out. On a personal note, we celebrated our one year anniversary during our 2 night stay. We notified the hotel in advance. We were very surprised that nothing was done on their behalf for the event. Even if a room upgrade is not available, the hotel has numerous options just to acknowledge the occasion for minimal to no cost (e.g. card in room, fruit, breakfast etc. - literally anything). This is just bad hospitality.

I enjoyed a one-night stay in a spacious and comfortable apartment. Good wifi and tv choices, fridge and safe, room service meal ordered in by a staff member. The windows had a courtyard and swimming pool view so had to keep them closed during the time I was there in the day as people were sunbaking by the pool. There’s a lot to see in Vigo and the hotel is in a convenient location for walking to the main sights (and the sea). Note that many shops are closed on Sundays, but eateries are mostly open. Staff were helpful. Overall, good value and I was happy with my choice.

This hotel is fantastic value for money. The people who work here are really great. Large comfortable beds Air conditioning Soft Bedding and towels. Good bathrooms. Fabulous rooftop hot tub/jacuzzi Walking distance to everything. True definition of a quality boutique hotel. We will return to Vigo and this hotel, thanks for making our stay so chilled

Beautiful hotel rooms with all the amenities! The staff were friendly and helpful. The parking garage was a challenge with many tight turns and the staff went out of her way to lead us to our stall. Overall it was clean and modern. I would stay there again and I highly recommend it.

a nice gem in the hart of the city
Vigo is not only a harbor city, it has a nice center and vibe. Not so touristic, but enough to see and all on walking distance from this very nice hotel. It has underground parking garage, nice, quite and clean rooms

Great stay at Agua del Mar
We really enjoyed our stay at Agua del Mar. Our room was comfortable. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and clean. The staff was friendly, very helpful, and pleasant. The location is a very easy walk to Gran Via and many wonderful restaurants, cafes, and Rua Principe for shopping. Our only challenge was that the wifi is inconsistent.

I got the triple room and it was amazing since it included two bathrooms. Great location and check in-out were quick and effortless. Staff is amazing and super helpful, on-site parking available for about 13 euros. Will definitely stay here again. Plenty of shopping and restaurants around.

It's at the center of the city, clean, everything that you need is around the corner. The only thing missing was the facial tissue, otherwise we like vey much for the price it was all worth it/

The staff was very helpful. Our luggage was in our room upon arrival, they assisted in ordering room service, and helped us find our way back to the Camino the next morning. Room service was a luxury after walking the Camino all day. The burgers were delicious. The room was quiet and comfortable.

Vigo stay
We only had one night. The hotel was very close to the train station and the bus stop from the airport. I wish we had more time to explore the city. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

A little gem of a hotel
This centrally situated boutique hotel is excellent. I have travelled extensively and this is one of the cleanest and best maintained hotels that I have stayed in. The room and bathroom were immaculate and all the public areas were very clean and tidy. The young lady at reception was welcoming and professional. The rooftop terrace with sun loungers and a hot tub and the residents lounge were an added bonus. The hotel is near to the railway station and the bus stop for the airport bus is just round the corner. We did not have breakfast in the hotel so I cannot comment on the food. The rooms provide bathrobes and slippers, a fridge with daily free water, hairdryer, iron and board, toiletries and room service from a predominantly Italian menu. There were plenty restaurants and bars nearby as well as one of the main shopping streets. My only criticism would be traffic sound plus the soundproofing between rooms is inadequate. Other than this we had a great stay and would happily book again should we return to Vigo in the future.

A great hotel in Vigo!
We loved our four night stay at Hotel Aqua de Mar. From the time we arrived until we left, all of the staff were extremely friendly and so helpful with restaurant recommendations, printing off maps for directions, nothing was too much trouble! A lovely calm and quiet hotel in a good location (Airport bus stop is very nearby) We enjoyed walking everywhere and don’t miss a day trip to Islas Cies! I’ve never seen a beach like it anywhere in Europe. Hotel room was beautifully decorated, veryspacious, with a great bathroom and shower, and really comfortable beds. We can highly recommend it for a stay in Vigo and hope to get back there soon, lots more to see and do.
