"This was my second stay at Hotel Mar Blau. If your looking for a no frills, great value stay in a fantastic location then you will love this hotel. Right on the beach, very friendly staff and situated in the old town with easy access to both beaches, tapas alley etc.. Took me about 30 mins to walk to the lively brit bar end, but there is a taxi rank a min walk from hotel if needed. For the price, if you don't need a pool etc, then you really can't beat this hotel..... Excellent!!!"

"I really enjoyed my one night stay at the hotel. The check in was quick, the wifi was good and the area, whilst not in the centre, was within walking distance of all the popular places. The room was clean and comfortable with a balcony. I didn’t get an opportunity to use the facilities but the pool looked ok. The included buffet breakfast was very nice with plenty of options. "It is a beautiful hotel in a glorious position but mostly all staff are so kind and helpful, friendly and smiling even though the phone never stops. The room was immaculate and bed superbly comfortable. My only complaint was that I needed and booked and double checked to have 5.15am wake up call. This was not done until 5.37am when my taxi arrived!! Good thing I used my phone alarm! The staff member was apologetic. "
