"The hotel is nice enough, and the beds are reasonably comfortable, on the firm side, but the biggest problem is the almost total lack of control over the temperatures in the room. There is a fan control on the thermostat, but the low temperature is limited to 24°C (about 75°F). That means that the fan shuts off and there is no way to keep air circulating, so the room gets very stuffy. You can try opening the window, but without screens the mosquitoes come in. There should be a way to at least keep the air in the room moving so that you can sleep comfortably. On the other hand, the optional breakfast is great, and the outdoor seating is very pleasant in the summertime. We would’ve given five stars if we had been able to control the temperature so we could sleep comfortably at night."

"Initially tricky to get in as I usually book hotels rather than serviced apartments, my error by not reading the message sent to me, but once I read the message it took 10 mins to arrange to meet. I also needed 3 euro for the daily tax which I don’t normally carry cash. With that said , the apartment was amazing, much better than normal hotel rooms, bathroom was amazing, breakfast provided, and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend and would use if in the area as very local to train station and ferry station."

"Overall excellent place to stay. I only have v minor issues which are probably more personal preference than anything. Shower flooded the whole bathroom on every use, air con was so noisy all night and pool could have used a clean to remove dead leaves. Other than that a wonderful place to stay"

"Location very central but was inside a semi office zone. Once inside the room was great and location excellent close to water, shops and train. Great bed and aircon and enough room inside. A few more pillows would have been great but we really enjoyed our stay and felt safe. Also made use of the amenities, kitchenette and clothes washer came in very handy. Recommended!"

"The residence is around 25–30 minutes above Lecco and offers stunning scenery, peaceful surroundings, friendly staff, and a freshly cooked breakfast made to order. The online reviews are accurate, and both the hotel and previous guests strongly recommend travelling by car, as taxis can cost €35–45 each way and many firms are reluctant to travel up to the property. Returning after a day exploring the area and watching the sunset from high above was truly relaxing. One thing to note is that the hotel does not serve dinner, and there are no nearby restaurants, so it is important to eat before returning in the evening. During our stay, which was shortened from two nights to one due to other commitments, we unfortunately discovered a large number of ants riddled all over the bathroom and living area of our room late at night after returning from a long day out. The owner did what they could by arranging for housekeeping to vacuum them up, but it appeared to be an issue that had happened before, likely coming through cracks between the bathroom tiles and walls. While we understand the property is located on a farm, we did not expect ants inside the bedroom. Despite this unfortunate experience, the property is lovely overall, and I would stay again — next time for longer to enjoy more of the surroundings and the hotel itself."
