"The bedding needs to be majorly upgraded. Need new linens better pillows a stylish comfortable coverlet and better mattress or mattered pad. It was a very uncomfortable sleep for a quite high priced hotel. Also the shower is terrible with mould and rust and it leaks. Breakfast and location are lovely"

"The hotel was wonderful. Beautiful place and located by the sea, breathtaking sight from the rooms. Nice pool area to take sunbaths as well. Excellent and well maintained yard. It has available parking. Room was spacious, breakfast included, very good and tasty. We had dinner a couple of nights and it was great also. There is a bar area in one of the floors very nice decorated. Convenient location, not far from the historical center, but you need car or taxi or uber."

Good breakfast served in the lovely courtyard by Matteo who was very kind and attentive - fresh croissant, fruit, muesli, yogurt, toast and great coffee! In a great location just 10 min walk to Via Etnea and the centre. As a solo traveller I felt very safe walking around and loved my brief stay in Catania. Great communication on booking with travel info from Antonio. Also really appreciated the little card with door codes, wifi, contact number which came in very handy when my phone battery died! Thank you Casa Bernero - I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again! 5 *"
