"Excellent stay. Chose Home 2 because I was having surgery at Sibley Memorial Hospital and wanted a week's recovery close by. We had a very large accessible room with a kitchen and an accessible bathroom. We were able to receive packages, which was very helpful. One piece of advice - if you are going to receive packages, be sure to note that the reception is on the second floor. I couldn't eat the breakfast, but my husband did and he really enjoyed it. Also appreciated the parking lot only about a block from the hotel and the $12.75/day charge felt like a bargain for the DC area. Highly recommend and would stay again. Felt like it was value for the price we paid. Only complaint, we could hear people walking in the apartment above us. If you are a light sleeper this might not be the place for you. It was fine for us."

"The room I got was a bit worn out technically. I had two landline phones to connect with the reception, but none of them worked properly. The fridge was very noisy. The internet connection did not work until I walked over to the reception in person and figured out that my name was in the database incorrectly. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but the things above made me feel a bit annoyed. p.s. For the international travellers with jet lag, it would be wonderful if the gym would open before 6 a.m."

"I stayed here when a flight at Dulles got bumped overnight and I needed a place to crash. It's a short walk through a quiet neighborhood from the nearest metro station. The room was quiet, clean, and reasonably comfortable, and it was reasonably priced."

"Lobby was not good. Exterior of building dirty, needs maintenance. . Room was as expected. Clean, comfortable bed, spacious room. Walls are paper thin, no soundproof between rooms. Rate it a 7.5 overall "

"I absolutely loved this hotel! The bar staff was amazing (for the most part). Coming off the highway and trying to park for valet is a bit tricky depending on what time you get there though. I didn’t try breakfast but the pizza from the on site restaurant was really good. I’m already thinking of booking again for my birthday in June. "

"Athough the room is small, it has everything you need. If you request something, they bring it to you. Probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, very comfortable. Geoffrey's Bistro located in the Hotel was also great. The staff was courteous and efficient and the food was excellent."
