"Lovely hotel with beautiful location on the lake. It's a bit outside on Montreux, but they kindly provided free bus travel which runs every 10 minutes from a bus stop right outside the hotel. Rooms and breakfast were all lovely. There is also a pleasant lounge area and outdoor terrace. A good tip is to take the bus from the hote about half way to town and alight at Clarens-Basset. From there there is a promenande all the way into town whuch is a lively 45 minute walk. "

"The hotel feels brand new, and so very clean. There is only 1-2 people working in the reception/bar/breakfast areas at any given time. The coffee machine didn’t work so was difficult to get a coffee as you had to get the attention of this one person who was quite busy and not just tending The breakfast area. "A really lovely stay with superb service and delightful food. Hotel is full of character but the rooms are rather dated. Will definitely be returning with friends next year a lovely experience and hopefully overtime, money will be spent on the interior. The food is superb. The scenery is unparalleled."

"Check-in went smoothly and receptionist was very competent. However we wanted to use the SPA and it was not possible as all the time slots were taken. Additionally, the restaurant was closed. We booked this Hotel as we wanted to use the SPA and enjoy a romantic evening. "The property is immediately opposite Lausanne rail station and between the 2 metro stops. It is very quiet inside the hotel and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a coffee maker in the room and a carafe for water. The shower is great. The staff are all very helpful, with ideas for places to visit and transport information "

"The location is great. You can actually walk right off Platform 1 of the train station and into the hotel. It’s a little off the main street so you do hear the train a little but better than hearing people in restaurants and such. Only a few min walk to the water and stores/cafes. The room was spacious. The staff were super friendly and the self-service laundry was a nice amenity to have. "
