"Nice place away from the traffic noise but only two minutes from the highway. Price ok, breakfast ok. Cleanliness ok and perfect mattresses. I do recommend!"

"The property and our rooms, including the floors in the bathroom, were extremely clean. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast had hot food choices - the warm cinnamon rolls were thick and very good!"

"When we checked into our room, the bathroom was moldy and had black mold on the ceiling and in the tile as well as throughout the room. The room had a damp andmoist smell. We decided to check out early the next morning after breakfast and found boiled sausage links and a small bowl of scrambled eggs was all that was left by 8:30 AM. The room had trash underneath the table when we arrived, and the floors were dirty. Just overall not what I expected from such a high end hotel. The 9/10 reviews could not be more far off, unfortunately."

Breakfast options were sparse but reasonable given the low cost of the room. Truly a good deal - I’ll stay here again when I’m in the area. "

"The 100 year old hotel is in very good shape. Our room was clean and quiet. The hotel is right at Staunton's downtown for shopping and dining. The hotel breakfast was okay, but not outstanding. The staff was courteous and helpful. The free parking garage was adjacent and easy to use. "

"Room was nice, however sofa bed was not made and I had to go to retrieve sheets from the front desk to make it myself. Usually not a big deal, I had already been down to the lobby to unload the car so making another trip after a long day was irritating. Coffee was decaf in the room and one of the coffee machines in the lobby didn’t work making it a long wait to get coffee in the morning. "
