"The hotel was very clean, but it needs some updating. The first room had an odor because the A/C in the room was going bad. The staff was super helpful and switched us to a different room. The other room was better! The only issue it had was the mini fridge didnโt have a freezer (which the first one did-minor inconvenience) and the shower curtain was falling down in the bathroom so it didnโt close properly. The side entry door to the hotel was broken and didnโt close all the way. The continental breakfast had a great selection!! And the all day complimentary waters and coffee are a small amenity that goes a long way!!"

"The ways beds have been lad out after opwning the murphy bed- is not safe. -once opened both there is a very tight space between the two at one of the corners - it caused me a bad injury on my small toe and ripped off half of my nail- Cleaning was supposed to be daily- despite letting the crew know at 12 pm that we are heading out and please try and clean, while we are gone, when we returned at 3:30 the room wasn't cleaned , when I mentioned and complained to the Manager she sounded as if it was our fault that we didn't call the FD. This took me with bit of a shock as daily cleaning was part of the routine. This was a big disappointment. They need to change the layout of their beds or do something else to prevent the injury which is a biggest safety issue."

"I loved the modern upgrades and aesthetic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was conveniently located in walking distance to multiple restaurants, coffee shops, downtown shopping, and views of the lakes. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Two thumbs up!"

"Good value, free breakfast and plenty of free parking. Room was clean, bed comfortable, AC worked good and there's a free shuttle service. The casino has dining options and it's a short distance to various nearby restaurants."
Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant

"The Inn is a historic site and was built in 1911 one year before the titanic sank, so there is no elevator for the second or third floors. (Beware if you are elderly or handicapped) Every room is somewhat different so itโs hard to evaluate the other rooms but ours was a corner room with lots of windows and nicely decorated with an electric fireplace. The 1911 restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday so we only ate there once. They didnโt seem to have a breakfast anymore and the restaurant was a little overpriced. There was a nice front and back porch to sit on and meet other travelers. Good place to try if you like historical old buildings."
