"What a beautiful property finished to a very high standard of decor. Property was spotless, food was excellent and the owner's such lovely friendly people. Secure car parking for the time spent there. Would definitely recommend the Melrose guest house."

"Cottage is clean and a reasonable amount of room for 3 adults and a 15 year old. Clean and tidy kitchen with everything you need including a dishwasher. Please note there is no washing machine. WiFi was included which was ideal. The bedrooms were clean and tidy. For anyone with mobility issues please be aware the stairs are very steep and you must be very careful coming out of the main bedroom as you come out straight on the stairs so you need to be aware. There was parking but the parking bays are very narrow and we did get a couple scratches on our cars which we weren’t very happy about."
