"Staff was incredible. Rooms were small but newly renovated. Short walk from everything. Coffee machine was partially working, was nice to still have complimentary tea in the morning"
Marlin Hotel Stephens Green
10/10 Excellent
"Best place to stay in Dublin. Staff went out of their way to make us feel so special and welcome again. We will definitely return again. This hotel is central to everything that we wanted to see and places that we wanted to visit. Thank you to all the staff who came to help. Breakfast was delicious."
Hilton Dublin Kilmainham
10/10 Excellent
"Outstanding anniversary stay – staff made it truly special We stayed at the Hilton Kilmainham in Dublin on a Saturday for our one-year anniversary, and it was a really lovely experience overall. From the moment you walk in, there’s a beautiful fragrance throughout the hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything we needed was there. The staff were absolutely outstanding – genuinely 11 out of 10. The guys at reception were super helpful and friendly. They helped me organise a lovely surprise for my partner with balloons, chocolates and red wine. The hotel also left us a little dessert plate with “congratulations” written in chocolate. All the small details were thought through perfectly and made the stay feel really special. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The traditional fish and chips were excellent. Unfortunately the steak was quite chewy and not great. When we mentioned it to a gentleman in a suit (I believe he was a manager), his response was just “Was it chewy? Oh ok” – very flat, no smile, and quite different from the rest of the team. In contrast, all the restaurant staff were brilliant – polite, warm and always smiling. Special mention to our waitress Chloe, a lovely French girl who was fantastic. We also used the pool and jacuzzi, which were clean and really nice. Breakfast the next morning was excellent – great choice of food and again the breakfast team were so friendly and helpful. We would happily return"
The Chancery Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The property was near the central part of the city but tucked away so you didn’t hear any of the commotion outside. Beautiful room and very high tech with some of the features. The only downside I have to mention is that the AC is capped at a certain temperature and even if you adjust it lower it won’t go down. This was frustrating as the room got very warm. When we talked to reception about it when we checked out they said we simply just needed to call them to adjust it but to me that kinda defeats the purpose of having a thermostat in the room. Beautiful properly nonetheless and I would recommend to others. Stayed in the double twin room and it was still spacious for two people."

"Nice little hotel (though for us luddites ridiculous tablet to control lights, shades, everything in room) - and they goofed and billed us for food on hotel bill when we paid daily by credit card."
Binary Hub

"It was a little far out from the centre of Dublin that reflects in the price. It is brilliant for the Guinness Storehouse though. The "park" area immediately outside did have a few men sat around that made me feel as though I needed to be aware. The lack of toiletries was a surprise. It's a long time since I have been anywhere without any. So much so I didn't take any. I should have asked at reception. It did sometimes feel empty of guests but Sunday, Monday is perhaps expected. It felt better when I sat in the lounge area and enjoyed the free coffee and biscuits on my final morning. There was lots that was very positive. Modern building, decor and furnishings. Very clean and welcoming staff who were keen to help. Great seating/social areas with pool table and with complementary tea/ coffee and biscuits. The kitchen areas were brilliant with TV and seating areas. Very student halls feel."
