The room we had was one that wasn’t advertised at all in the listing. It was very old fashioned with very large dark furniture that didn’t match anything whereas the photos shown more modern looking rooms. The couches that two of us had to sleep on were very uncomfortable also. We felt like we had been cat fished with this room, and although the location was perfect for what we wanted, we wouldn’t stay here again.

Hello,First of all sorry that you had such a terrible experienced however:- the apartment you received was actually for more number of people than you booked - it was an apartment for 6 and you booked for 5- most of the people like the old furniture in this apartment- beds - we have these single beds in many apartments and a lot of people like them because they are comfortable hard - not soft which tend to be uncomfortable- we sell this apartment through another partner and this apartment has a score of 4.66 out of 5So I apologize that you did not like this apartment but giving a score 1 out of 5 is a very rare, not common and unfair.And we are on this market too long to do cat fishing as you described it.All the best and wishing you that you never stay in a place which deserves a 1 out of 5.

Great location, fast wifi
In the old center, location was very convenient. Room is a bit tight but very clean. Wifi is the best we’ve had in a long time traveling. Bring your toiletries.

Property was extremely hard to find, however once we found the apartment and how to get inside we were pleasantly surprised the room was nice and the location was probably the best you could get. Bed was not that comfortable and had very bad sheets but since we spent there only one night it was not a deal breaker for us. Definitely recommend to those that want to explore the city for a couple days.

Hotel is basic but clean. Great location. HOWEVER - it’s a self check in - this you need access to your email. (Could be trouble for some). When we left we took the keys by mistake and the owner was friendly working with us so we could mail them back.

The location is fantastic. Right in the heart of old town, close to everything. The outside of the hotel is charming. The unique way to pick up the keys was actually kind of fun and mysterious ... spy-esque. The rooms are super clean and adorable. I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice and well-equipped apartment in the Old Town. Had a full kitchen, which I barely used, having a washing machine was useful, bed was comfortable. Drawbacks: no soap/shampoo provided was a bit cold, only 70F/20C

The staff was very cold, wouldn't say hi when we came in from dinner. Not too helpful when we asked for restaurant suggestions. Odd smell from 1st floor.

Great location and the showers and toilets were clean. Staff was helpful but I did not interact much as I wanted to see the town. I did not expect A/C so one night was extremely hot but other nights it was nice to sleep in. The room overlooks a small square with a "lucky" bell. It would have been nice to have a common area/kitchen but you can walk outside and there is a veranda overlooking the river and you can make coffee/tea in your room. Overall, it was perfect and what I was looking for. Thank you and I would come back again!

Five Happy Customers
We were 5 lads looking to discover Warsaw old town as part of a long weekend break. Wanted to keep the costs down and found this room with 5 single beds to be very good value for money. Its a hostel with shared facilities. Staff are friendly; excellent location very close to the centre square; the room was adequate and we all managed to sleep in the 5 single beds. There were tea/coffee making facilities (no mini fridge). The bathroom/shower was adequate for a quick shower; some people might prefer more privacy, but I thought it was fine. If you want to keep the costs down and don't mind sharing facilities then this is a perfectly fine accomodation. With this update I can say a very big Thank you to the Recepionist and staff who were very helpful during our stay! Five happy customers (Karl, Terry, Steve, Billy and Ryan).

Great location, only a minute walk to the old town square. Great room, Great price, but it was HOT! no fan, no air circulation, no air conditioner. End the end, love my medium hostile family room with a private bathroom.

Clean comfortable apartment next to main square
Great affordable apartment just off the main square. Clean and convenient with a kitchenette. My only comment is you don't know which one you're getting when you book. Ours was fine but we were hoping for a different one from the photos.

Lovely old city
Hotel located in amazing location in old town up hill. The reception are speaking English very good, communication was very smooth. In addition she was very friendly and helpful young girl. They are avlaible 24 hours and their response is very high. Just few steps and you are in old city, to enjoy walking and restaurants. Note that taxi cannot reach the hostel as cars are not allowed. You must walk at least 400 m with your luggage. Also if you hire taxi or Uber you will walk to the meeting point. Hostel is clean . You must pay to get a towel as it is not free. There is not lift (elevator). It is very good and recommended if youn do not have heavy luggage or if you have and can manage .

It seems like the experience largely depends on which room you get. We had two rooms, one very nice and large, one small, dark, stuffy, and loud. The good room had two large windows, facing a garden, second floor, usable kitchen, everything looked comfortable. The small room didn't even have a fan, one window facing the street at the ground level so every time someone went on the street, smoke came into the room but we had to keep the window open because it was the only way to have air in the stuffy, hot room. It made me nervous about the security as well, there was no fence on the room's window while every other window in the area had one. The sheets were stained and the bathroom had a hanging door that released the steam into the room. The bigger room had a much better for the ventilation system. The location was good and we enjoyed walking around the old town and the river side. The staffs were very nice and kind, they gave us good advice about the area. It may be a bit of gamble on which room you get, but if your priority goes to the location, this could be a room for the people who stay outside all day long and come back to sleep.

Great, Simple Apartments in Old Town Warsaw
Me and my partner stopped in an apartment and it's was great. Located right in the old town, it was clean, nicely decorated and a great base to go exploring in Warsaw. The only issue was at check-in where the hostel had no record of our booking and the booking reference from Hotels.com was too long for their system. It wasn't a huge issue and we got our apartment as booked but it had me worried when we arrived. I'm not sure if this is an issue with hotels.com or Kanonia so it's not impacting too much on my opinion, especially as everything else was so nice.

Worst check-in experience ever!
Worst check-in experience ever. First, I entered the hostel reception. The clerk was standing outside and clearly saw me enter to check-in yet I stood at the front desk waiting about 5 minutes before the clerk decided to come back in to check me in. I was given a cryptic map and vague directions about how to find the apartment at a separate building. I confirmed three times with the clerk what direction to go in, heading "LEFT" outside the hostel? After about a hour of struggling to find the apartment with my luggage in tow, a helpful local person informed me that I was heading in the wrong direction and kindly backtracked with me to show me the RIGHT direction as I should have been told to turn RIGHT outside the hostel entrance. After reaching the apartment, I attempted to login to the WIFI, using the instructions provided to me by the hostel. Turns out, the WIFI account listed on the instructions did not exist. I returned to hostel to sort it out and I was informed by the clerk that it was the service provider's fault and I would have to wait until tomorrow to get it fixed. On a hunch, I later discovered on my own that the correct account/password were listed on the back of the modem in the apartment and voila I had WIFI access. Had I listened to the hostel clerk about having to wait until the next day to access the WIFI, I would have been without WIFI the whole night for no reason. Another negative, when you take a shower, the water goes all over the apartment, poor design

I'm sorry to hear that. Already send it to my staff trying to clear situation. Actually opinion witch You left is a bit out of my head. But now I'm working on this to realize workers how important is help and correct communication with quests. About WiFi - we cannot have IT support here 24/h. When router works correctly in general it looks like provider fault. When problem is on provider hand - what they cannot fix immediately - that's why especially in evenings and late evenings we have to inform that might happen that problem will be solved next day - what is correct with information witch we got when we report problem. WiFi is always available in main building of Hostel. Hopefully rest of Your stay was nice and You had good time in Warsaw. Best Regards Sylwia

Great Value for money
Nice apartment, in a quite area, very near to the old town, and royal castle. Nice neighborhood, buses available 5 minutes away. the apartment was nice with good cooking arrangement. One cautionary note is that the entrance to the apartment is not on the main street, so the entrance is a bit difficult to locate the first time. Overall great value for money. .

Apartment close enough to the old town square
Unfortunately our taxi could not get close enough to the hostil, so we walked with our luggage a couple of blocks to the office, and found that we would have an apartment which was farther away. HOWEVER, the gentleman at the desk took all 5 of us and our luggage and drove us the 3 minutes to the apartment we were given. The place was very cute and spacious, clean and what we needed. The apartment was newly purchased by the hostil and was going to be renovated at the summer's end. So we still had a 1970's style toilet room separate from the bathroom. We had NO COMPLAINTS, and were very satisfied with the accommodations. There was a little local store less than a minute away which had everything we needed to make our own breakfast and lunch, and it even had gluten-free bread which my celiac son requires! All in all, it was a very good location and we will use Kanonia again!

Comfortable apartment close to old town square
Great value individual apartments, with all basics - wi-fi. TV, fridge, en-suite shower,kettle,hob. We were 6 adults , 2 in 3 apartments. 2 were studios with lovely river views. Other had washing machine & separate bedroom, lounge & kitchen. All clean & less than 2 minutes' walk from old rynek & castle square - delightful.

Booked this hostel to be right in the middle of old town, off market square. However, we were told we did not have a room in the hostel, but rather in a small apartment about 10 min walk away. the new place was fine, but I would have liked to know this upfront.

5 of us stayed in a one bedroomed apartment with separate kitchen and bathroom. Great location and perfectly adequately equipped.
