"A very nice place and excellent pub food. We stayed in the "annex" across the street from the pub. As they warned, the staris were steep, so those with mobility issues may have trouble. The room was large and the bathroom was good. We only requested room cleaning once during our 6-night stay. The only minor issue was it seemed the common hallways and our room floor was not vacummed. All other services were excellent. We would definitely return to the Rose & Crown."

"Yes the gypsy caravan is small but it has everything you need .... It's clean, tidy warm and cosy, and a great night's sleep. We stayed 4 nights and the breakfasts were slightly different each day but at the same time great quality .. all the staff can cook! We were made to feel so welcome we stopped and extra night! Overall a super pub in a super location. Would recommend booking the restaurant and it's very popular and often full even mid-week. Would recommend to anyone. "

"Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The room was spotless and the amenities were excellent, including the well-stocked small fridge with food and snacks. The weather was exceptionally cold during our stay, and unfortunately the small heater wasn’t quite enough to keep the room comfortably warm."
