"Friendly staff especially the breakfast room attendant. Hotel well maintained. Walking distance to almost anything. Only word of caution is this is a VERY pet friendly hotel. They tend to put those traveling with pets on the right side of the first floor. Can you guess where we stayed? Had to sleep with window open all night. Very heavy pet smell. We own a dog but this was a bit much. Next time we are back, we will request a room anywhere else."

"I have stayed at the Canterbury several times over the years. This room was awesome! One bedroom with a hydro jetted tub in the room. Nice decor. Staff are always wonderful and will for sure be back and highly recommend planning a stay here. "

"Staff is very nice and the beds weren’t terrible. Love that it is pet friendly and very accommodating for dogs. However, not ideal for families with young kids that go to bed early. It’s a very lively place and stays quite loud until quiet hours at 10pm. Would not fault the hotel for that however, overall it’s a wonderful place. "
