I didn't realize, outside of booking with Hotels.com, there was further interaction with the place itself, through email, that needed to be addressed. There was an 800 number that took care of everything upon checking that was great. I felt it could have been a bit cleaner. There is mold in the corners of the shower (a 1/3 bleach water spay would fix that), the areas around the cupboard handles were full of finger prints and grime as well as the front of the microwave. It also was quiet noisy, early mornings as the street traffic and families walking to the school across the street. It did help to have the sound machine.
Lots of restaurants and close to bus. It is about an hour to get to the National Mall.
